First year bachelor student of Leiden University

I’m Farhad, a 25-year-old Robotics Master’s student from Iran(yes, we are in the news a lot!). I am a social extrovert who loves being active. You will often find me spending time at student associations. I am a member of both the improv theater and the kayaking association! I really enjoy connecting with people and building good friendships. Before diving fully into robotics, I actually started a Master's in sociology back home, though I had to drop it for political reasons. It gave me a real appreciation for good chats. I am always down for serious, deep conversations, or just turn off my brain and joke around. I am also a big tech geek. Even though I love being social, I am also busy and respect boundaries. Between my classes and my part-time research job at the university lab, I have a pretty steady routine. I completely understand the need for personal space and know when to be quiet so people can study or recharge. Plus, I take house chores very seriously and will always do my part. I am applying because I am looking for a real community, not just a room to sleep in. I would love to live with people who enjoy group activities, like visiting art galleries, but who also respect each other's downtime.

Hai, ik ben Nathalie (18 jaar), ik kom uit Deventer en ga in september bewegingswetenschappen studeren in Groningen. Ik houd van hockey, reizen, een gezellig feestje, werken in de horeca, spelletjes en soms lekker op de bank zitten en een serie kijken. Afgelopen jaar heb ik een tussenjaar gehad. Ik heb de afgelopen tijd dan ook veel gewerkt en gereisd. Ik ben naar Malaga geweest (5 weken) en naar Zuid-Afrika, Eswatini en Mozambique (2,5 maand). Ik vond het dan ook heerlijk om even een jaartje rust te hebben van school/studie, maar heb nu ook wel mega veel zin in het studentenleven! Ik heb een zus die nu ook al wat jaartjes in Groningen studeert, en door haar verhalen kijk ik er ook heel erg naar uit om in Groningen te studeren en wonen! Ik ben dan ook niet helemaal onbekend met de stad. Het lijkt me leuk om in een gezellig studentenhuis te wonen en samen leuke dingen te doen (koken, spelletjes, uitgaan of gewoon lekker kletsen :)). Maar ik kan ook prima een momentje voor mezelf gebruiken. Als dit je/jullie aanspreekt, kom ik heel graag even kennismaken!!

He is 3 years old. We're both very tidy, quiet and friendly neighbors! He has been living with me for 2 years, and if you want, I can provide a written confirmation from my landlord that we are both very unproblematic. *Enzo doesn’t shed, is house-trained and in general a very calm dog.

In mijn vrije tijd ben ik veel met muziek bezig. Ik hou van concerten en festivals en werk daarnaast bij de Nobel, een poppodium in Leiden. Verder hou ik van wandelen en katten. Ik vind het gezellig om af en toe samen te eten, een drankje te doen of een spelletje te doen, maar ik ben geen enorme party animal. Ik ben namelijk ook iemand die het fijn vindt om af en toe mijn eigen ding te doen en ik zoek daarom vooral een huis met een relaxte, gezellige sfeer zonder al te veel verplichtingen.
