I have already fully finalized my university registration, paid my financial guarantee, and secured my student visa, so my finances and paperwork are 100% stable and ready to go. A bit about me: I am currently finishing up my mandatory military service in the South Korean Air Force. Because of this, I am incredibly disciplined, highly value a clean and structured living environment, and deeply respect house rules, shared chores, and quiet hours. When I’m not diving into coding projects or studying, I’m a big PC gamer (I love complex strategy games), a massive sports and Formula 1 fan, and I really enjoy creative writing. I also love cooking and trying out new recipes. What I am looking for: I am looking for a room or studio for at least 6 to 12 months (ideally longer). As a housemate, I am quiet and independent when it's time to focus on a demanding engineering degree, but I am also highly social and love a home with good chemistry—whether that means sharing a meal, watching a race/match together, playing board games, or having deep conversations over coffee. I am a strict non-smoker and do not bring any pets. Elk jaar op 2 december vier ik mijn verjaardag, en dit jaar word ik 20. Ik ga dit jaar beginnen met de studie Journalistiek aan de Hogeschool Utrecht. In mijn vrije tijd hou ik ervan om met vriendinnen iets te drinken, lekker muziek te luisteren, of gezellig een film te kijken. Sporten doe ik ook graag; in de winter doe ik aan schaatsen, en in de zomer skeeler en fiets ik. Naast mijn studie en hobby’s werk ik in het weekend in de keuken en bediening van een brasserie, en als de avond valt, vind ik het leuk om met vrienden uit te gaan in Breda. Hoi! Ik ben Ishara, 22 jaar oud, en momenteel bezig met afstuderen in Toegepaste Psychologie. Vanaf september start ik aan een nieuwe bachelor Psychologie aan de Radboud University. Sinds mijn 18e woon ik al op kamers in Nijmegen en inmiddels heb ik hier echt mijn eigen leven opgebouwd. Op dit moment woon ik in een studentenhuis met een vrij zelfstandige kamer (eigen keuken en ongeveer 30m²), maar ik merk dat ik nu toe ben aan een volgende stap: een eigen studio of appartement waar ik wat meer rust en mijn eigen ritme kan hebben. Ik ben erg zelfstandig, rustig en netjes. Ik hou van een schoon huis en ben eerlijk gezegd een beetje een stress-schoonmaker, er gaat dus wekelijks wel een doekje over alles heen en de stofzuiger wordt regelmatig gebruikt 😄. Ik ga niet vaak uit, organiseer geen feestjes en ga respectvol om met mijn woonomgeving. Natuurlijk heb ik soms vrienden of familie over de vloer, maar verder leef ik vrij rustig. In mijn vrije tijd hou ik van lezen, spelletjes spelen, samen eten met vrienden en gewoon gezelligheid opzoeken. Ik zoek vooral een fijne plek waar ik me thuis kan voelen. Omdat ik volledig op mezelf ga wonen, vind ik het ook belangrijk om goed en open contact te hebben met een huisbaas/verhuurder en duidelijke communicatie te hebben met elkaar.
