Ik ben georganiseerd en gefocust op mijn studie: ik ga naar mijn colleges en practica en breng heel wat uurtjes in de bibliotheek door. Tegelijkertijd houd ik een ​​goede balans door tijd voor mijn vrienden te maken, de stad te verkennen en 's ochtends hard te lopen. I was born in Amsterdam and grew up in a family of four children, and I have a close bond with my two older sisters and younger brother. I moved to the United States when I was five. Since living back in the Netherlands, I enjoy taking city trips on weekends. I am organized and focused on my studies: I attend my lectures and lab practicals and spend quite a few hours in the library. At the same time, I maintain a good balance by making time for my friends, exploring the city, and going for runs in the mornings. I currently live with three roommates; we get along well and always keep our apartment tidy. I try to be considerate of others and keep the common areas neat. Hi there! My name is Jason, I am 23 years old and I'll be visiting the University of Amsterdam for an Erasmus semester starting August 31st 2026 till January 31st 2027. I am currently living in Konstanz, Germany. I study sociology in my 4th semester now and I also study political science as my minor subject. I would describe myself as a very vibrant and social but also as a very sensitive person. I love engaging with people and to communicate with them, even if they're strangers to me. As I am a student in my home country I already have a lot of experience in living with roommates and how to coordinate everything with them. It's very important for me that everyone gets along with each other so everyone can feel like they're at home. Furthermore, I am very aware of leaving my working spaces clean, e.g. in the kitchen. My studies start on August 31st. It would be ideal for me to move in mid-August but I'd also be able to pay rent beginning August 1st. Financially I am supported by a lot of "programs". I receive student loans in my home country and will also get it for studying abroad. Furthermore, I also get an Erasmus scholarship for studying in Amsterdam. Personally, I used to work as a mailman for two years so I still got a lot of savings left. Additionally, I'm also supported directly by my parents and some family members would try to help as well if something ever happens. If it comes to interests there is a variety of stuff that I engage in! :) I enjoy doing sports, especially swimming. Also, I am very interested in a lot of cultural stuff like museums and festivals that are characteristic for a certain country or community. I also recently started to be very interested in comedy shows and poetry slam but I'm not too deep about that yet.
