Hi! I'm a 23 year old student from Naples, graduated last December with a MSc in Mechanical Engineering. I'm starting a second MSc in Nuclear Fusion at TU/e in September, as a scholarship winner, and I'm looking for a room around campus. I'm a very sporty person (2x national rowing champion, but won't tell anyone!), worked as a personal trainer during my studies, and I've been practicing all kinds of sports. I also have a big passion for music, I play piano and guitar (with headphones...) and I can't wait to attend Dutch festivals and concerts. Ik ben opgegroeid en woon op dit moment in Amsterdam waar ik ook de Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering heb gedaan aan de Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Nu ben ik met mijn vriendin Tess al bijna 7 jaar samen en wonen beiden nog bij onze ouders. Ook zijn we op zoek naar ons eigen plekje in de buurt van de Universiteit, werk, vrienden en familie hier in Amsterdam. Ook Tess is student aan de Universiteit van Amsterdam. Dit appartement is ideaal en het lijkt ons fantastisch om hier samen een nieuwe fase van ons leven te starten. We zijn een rustig en netjes koppel (niet rokend) dat op zoek is naar een plek om tot rust te komen na een drukke dag. Naast onze studie hebben we beiden een parttime baan en spaargeld dus onze financiële situatie is solide. Daarnaast kunnen onze ouders ook garant staan mocht dit nodig zijn. My name is Valeriya, I am a Master student in Sustainable and Circular Chemistry at Utrecht University. The program is until September 2027 and then I will be enrolled to a PhD program at UU. I am learning Dutch, but mainly speak English. I am 26 years old, I highly value having a quiet home and prefer minimalistic lifestyle. I have vast experience living on my own - I have moved out of my parents' house at 18 and lived both at student housings and in rented apartments. I've had excellent relationships with my landlords, often helping them find new tenants after my departure. As per my income, I have won the prestigious Utrecht Excellence Scholarship for the whole duration of my studies (~1200 euro/month) and I have personal savings from my several years of work experience before coming for this Master program.
