Coming from Utah, USA :) I'm going to be starting an University of Amsterdam in the fall, and I'm looking for a room starting in the first two weeks of August. Willing to use whatsapp for video call, as I'm not in the Netherlands yet. I'm a student of linguistics, currently learning Spanish, Danish, and ready for more to come. I'm a musician and songwriter, so you often hear me singing to myself. I like my spaces to be clean and organized. I hate cigarettes to an unusual degree. I like animals and nature.

I'm looking for someplace to live as I start my Masters program in Astrophysics Research this Fall. I graduated summa cum laude, so I am a serious student. I'm from the USA, easy to get along with, tidy, considerate. Enjoy traveling, hiking and discovering new music when not studying.

I'm currently studying art history at Utrecht University and I'm super excited to really start my life in Utrecht. My hobbies include reading, making stained glass and sewing (I will fix your clothes for you if it means I got a place to live). I already have a job in Utrecht at a vintage clothing store.

I am a student of Industrial design and fine arts doing a 3-month internship in Amsterdam. I am in a co-op program at my university with alternating work and study periods, so I have lived in many cities and in different living situations over the past three years. My internship is full-time, 40-hours a week in Amsterdam-oost. I just finished up with a semester abroad in Italy and got to learn a bit of the language there. In new places, I like to take long walks or bike rides, see live music, and find arts-based cultural events. At home, I like to cook (for everyone I live with), make art, and rest. I am very tolerant to different roommate dynamics and am happy to keep to myself or be great friends. I love to laugh and have long chats about life. I am working on a long project now and tend to consider everything research. I love to go out and have fun but I definitely don't consider myself a night owl. I'm looking forward to a lovely few months in the Netherlands, full of growth and new discoveries.

Ik ben een rustige en serieuze jongen van 19 jaar en ik zoek een kamer voor de dagen dat ik in Leiden moet zijn om er te studeren en te slapen. Momenteel reis ik vanuit Nijmegen op en neer naar Leiden voor mijn studie Taalwetenschap. In het weekend en de college-vrije periodes zal ik thuis in Nijmegen zijn. In mijn vrije tijd luister ik naar muziek en kijk ik films en series, altijd met een koptelefoon op. Ik rook niet en drink geen alcohol. Ik ben wat meer op mezelf en vind het dus geen probleem om geen bezoek in mijn kamer te ontvangen. Maar een praatje is altijd gezellig. En ik hou van bordspelletjes.

Per september 2024 begin ik aan mijn opleiding Musicaltheater aan Fontys Hogeschool voor de Kunsten in Tilburg en daarom ben ik op zoek naar een woonruimte, maximaal €950 per maand inclusief.

My budget is up to 900€ as I will work part time during my studies and will be financially supported by my family. I look for a place to stay as early as August/September but would also be open to rent an apartment earlier. A bit about me: I love politics and societal topics which is why I am a very political active person. I love going out and spending time in cafés, park or museums. I am a big reader and lover for music and concerts.

I moved to the Netherlands for my job in January - I work as a translator for an international travel company - and temporarily lived in a shared house in Diemen. Since the landlord sold the house, I'm looking for a new home starting from June. My office is located in Amsterdam, so I'm looking for a quiet (studio) apartment or a quiet room in a shared apartment close to a train station or metro/tram/bus stop with good connections to "Amsterdam Bijlmer Arena". However, since I work partly from home, a commute of up to an hour is fine to me, and I'm open to accommodation outside of Amsterdam if I can reach the office within a reasonable time. I'm a reliable, tidy and clean tenant and take good care of the space I live in. I'm quiet and am also looking for a quiet space since I work from home on some days. Therefore, I'm also looking for a space with enough room to have a desk and an office chair (apart from the usual bed, closet, etc.). If you offer a room in a shared apartment, please additionally note: I have lived in various shared apartments before and can accommodate to different kind of roommates easily. I'm a nice, quiet (but sociable), tidy and reliable person. I'm respectful towards my roommates' needs, and will always treat shared spaces and your privacy with care.
