Mijn naam is Lauren ik ben 19 jaar oud. Ik begin 1 september aan de opleiding AMFI (Amsterdam Fashion Institute). Daarom ben ik dringend op zoek naar een woning. Hiervoor heb ik altijd in de horeca gewerkt, waardoor ik gewend ben om verantwoordelijk, zelfstandig en sociaal te zijn. Daarnaast heb ik een halfjaar alleen in Barcelona gewoond voor mijn stage. Dat was een bijzondere ervaring waarin ik veel zelfstandigheid heb ontwikkeld en heb geleerd goed voor mezelf te zorgen. Ik ben iemand die graag een eigen plek heeft en ook kan genieten van rust. Ik vind het fijn om me terug te trekken om te studeren of creatief bezig te zijn. Daarnaast ben ik erg netjes en schoon en vind ik het belangrijk om goed voor mijn woning te zorgen. Verder ben ik een grote dierenvriend. Zelf heb ik bij mijn ouders thuis een lieve labradoodle waar ik dol op ben. Ook hou ik van reizen en nieuwe plekken ontdekken. Daarnaast luister ik graag naar muziek.

Hoi! Ik ben Daniel (27), oorspronkelijk uit Duitsland, en vanaf oktober begin ik als fulltime onderzoeksmedewerker aan de TU Delft, waar ik onderzoek doe binnen de sociologie van klimaatfinanciering. Mijn contract is voor één jaar, maar het kan uitgroeien tot een promotietraject. Voor nu kijk ik vooral of een carrière in de wetenschap bij mij past. Ik heb net mijn studie in Londen afgerond en kijk er erg naar uit om aan mijn eerste "echte" baan te beginnen. Een kleine waarschuwing: ik spreek nog geen Nederlands (alleen Duits, Engels en een beetje Spaans), maar ik ben zeker van plan om het te leren. Ik ben een ontspannen en gezellige huisgenoot, kook graag (meestal vegetarisch) en ben makkelijk om mee samen te wonen. Ik woon al jaren in gedeelde huizen en vind dat nog steeds erg leuk. Of het huis nu heel sociaal is of juist wat rustiger, allebei is prima – zolang we niet alleen als vreemden langs elkaar heen leven.
