Mijn sociale leven speelt zich grotendeels hier af en ik geniet enorm van alles wat de stad te bieden heeft: samen eten met vrienden, terrassen, cultuur, wandelen en fietsen. De internationale sfeer, de bereikbaarheid en de energie van de stad passen perfect bij mij. Ik ben rustig in huis, werk vaak vanuit huis en ontvang daarom niet vaak mensen thuis, mijn sociale leven speelt zich vooral buitenshuis af. Ik geniet net zo goed van een avondje op de bank met een film en een goed glas wijn. Ik ben op zoek naar een fijne woonplek in Amsterdam/Haarlem. Dat mag tijdelijk zijn of voor langere tijd; beide opties geven mij de ruimte om rustig verder te kijken en een volgende stap te zetten. Het belangrijkste voor mij is een prettige, stabiele plek waar ik me thuis kan voelen. Het lijkt me leuk om kennis te maken en te kijken of er een match is. I've lived in shared houses before — a year here in Amsterdam and a year in Australia — so I know how to keep a shared kitchen usable. On the practical side: since I'm still job-hunting I don't have a Dutch employment contract yet, but I have enough savings to cover my stay, and I'm happy to pay a higher deposit or several months of rent in advance.
