Hey friends, it’s my first time venturing out into this form of finding a place while traveling. This is the first summer we are able to stay away from our home for more than 2 weeks and we’re looking for a local experience rather than a hotel (having just left the corporate world). My wife and I are both psychologists and I am a masters student at Oxford University (part time) while we both run a training center in applied mindfulness and psychology. I hold a bachelors in chemical engineering and a double masters in applied positive psychology and mindfulness. My wife is a clinical psychologist. We live in Dubai, where our work and life is built. For this summer we are planning to spend a month in Oxford (as I complete my thesis), a month in Amsterdam, and a month in Portugal — where we have a home (our little fur child — a red haired Shiba Inu — is at our extended family home, we couldn’t bring her with us due to restrictions in the UK 👎). Beste verhuurder, Mijn naam is Julius, ik ben 23 jaar oud en ik stel mijzelf graag aan u voor als uw nieuwe, betrouwbare huurder. Per 1 juli 2026 ben ik op zoek naar een fijne (boven)kamer in Hilversum van minimaal 12 m². Omdat ik een nette laminaatvloer erg mooi vind, gaat mijn voorkeur hiernaar uit. Daarnaast verplaats ik mijzelf dagelijks op de scooter; een tuin of een veilige schuur/berging waar ik deze kan stallen, zou voor mij echt een uitkomst zijn. Op dit moment zit ik in de absolute afrondingsfase van mijn studie Junior Accountmanager. Stilzitten is niks voor mij, dus daarnaast steek ik graag de handen uit de mouwen als assistent klantenservice bij de Albert Heijn in Kerkelanden. Na mijn afstuderen wil ik meteen fulltime aan de slag bij een accountantskantoor of administratiekantoor. Dit geeft mij niet alleen een mooie uitdaging, maar biedt u als verhuurder ook de zekerheid van een stabiel en vast inkomen. De keuze voor Hilversum is voor mij heel bewust. Ik houd van de gezelligheid en de dynamiek van de stad, maar waardeer ook de centrale ligging. Het is voor mij de perfecte uitvalsbasis om snel op mijn werk te zijn of vrienden te bezoeken. In het dagelijks leven ben ik een rustige, volwassen en sociale jongen. Ik vind het heerlijk om mijn eigen gang te gaan, maar ik draag ook graag mijn steentje bij aan een fijn leefklimaat in huis.
