Hi, my name is Vittorio, I am 19 years old and I live in Milan, Italy. I got last year my high school diploma at Liceo Classico. I don't know if there is the equivalent in the Netherlands: I studied Latin and Greek for five years, as well as philosophy and history, which is by far my favourite subject. I also love maths, science, nature and animals so last year I enrolled in Applied Earth Sciences in Delft, because I would like to contribute to making our world a bit sustainable. Then, after some month in Delft I decided to quit Applied Earth Sciences in order to follow my ancient passion for history and I will start in September to study History at Utrecht University. I am a bit shy, so in my spare time I don't go out that much, but I prefer to read or watch TV series (my favourites have been Breaking Bad, The Boys, Better Call Saul and The Office). When I see my friends, mainly my high school friends, together we love to play Dungeons and Dragons or watch movies. I would like to start university in a studio or in a shared flat, both solutions are suitable for me because I love getting to know new people and cultures and to integrate more quickly with the world of university students in Utrecht. I would love to learn Dutch and get to know more about the culture, customs and cuisine of this country. I love cooking a lot and would love to both learn new recipes and share the ones I know (pasta carbonara is my favourite). I am quite tidy and I like my kitchen and bathroom to be clean and tidy, and I always make an effort, even at home, to respect common places. University starts on 1 September, but I am willing to rent a room right away, so that I can, during the summer, come and bring a few things.

Ik ben Mees, 20 jaar oud en woon momenteel in Ellecom, een klein dorpje vlakbij Arnhem. Ik speel voetbal bij een lokale club en daarnaast werk ik achter de bar in een hotelrestaurant. Ik ben eerstejaarsstudent van de bachelor Zorg, Gezondheid en Samenleving aan de Universiteit Utrecht. Dit is ook de reden dat ik op zoek ben naar een kamer/huis om te wonen. Ik reis nu anderhalf uur van deur tot deur en wil graag wat dichter bij de campus/in de stad wonen. Ik woon nu al heel mijn leven in een rustig dorpje tegen de veluwe en ben erg benieuwd naar het stadsleven. Uiteraard is Utrecht een hele leuke stad en dan woon ik ook dicht bij de studie.
