I’m returning to Groningen this semester after completing my mandatory mobility semester in Spain (wherein I dabbled with learning Spanish as well). I am looking for a room/studio for a longer period, since I'm going to spend my coming academic year at RUG. About me: I’m a quiet, responsible, and reliable tenant. Most of my time, I can be found in the library, researching, writing and reading some more. I enjoy reading fiction, journalling, as much as good conversations. I also enjoy going for long walks. I'm also working with one of my professors at RUG on a project on Climate change, which keeps me busy along with my own studies. I'm looking for a place where I can focus on my academic work (which is going to weigh more with my dissertation work coming soon). In my first Semester at RUG, I lived at SSH Winschoterdiep and had a very rewarding experience. I can provide a declaration of good tenancy from SSH confirming that I had no rent arrears or neighbourhood nuisance complaints. It was lovely staying at Winschoterdiep, but I would like to move to a neighbourhood in Groningen instead. My Erasmus Mundus scholarship provides a stable monthly income, which I receive before the end of the month, and I can provide proof of enrolment, proof of funding, and guarantor (my father) details if required.

Ik ben een 6 VWO leerling uit Kerkrade (Zuid-Limburg) en ga Werktuigbouwkunde studeren aan de TU Delft. Rondom deze omgeving zoek ik daarom ook een kamer! Bekijk zeker mn foto's ! ! Ik ben een vrij rustig persoon, maar niet ongezellig (hoop ik). Ik spreek graag met vrienden af om wat te eten of om te sporten: ik boulder graag met hun, heb lang gevoetbald (en als vrijwilliger gewerkt als jeugdtrainer) en doe ook aan krachttraining. Buiten sportieve hobby's ben ik ook graag creatief bezig: naaien, video-editen (je ziet me in een kantooroutfit in Heerlen-Centrum voor een videoproject) en grafisch ontwerp zijn allemaal dingen waar ik me bezig heb gehouden. Verder ga ik ook graag naar concerten: ik luister veel genres, maar de concerten waar ik heenga zijn vooral opkomende artiesten in de underground rap of edm scene (2hollis, fakemink, Frost Children, Underscores, etc..). Ik hoef niet per se een fan te zijn om mee te gaan, ga namelijk ook vaak gewoon met vrienden naar artiesten die ik niet goed ken. Het feit dat ik vrij rustig zal zijn komt ook doordat ik een gefocust student ben: het gymnasium heb ik met een 8,8 afgerond. Ik heb lang gezeten bij de debatvertegenwoordiging van school en heb veel gedaan met MEP (Model European Parliament). Ook heb ik meegedaan aan Olympiades, het Technasium (O&O) afgerond en veel wedstrijden (bv. wiskunde wedstrijden) gedaan voor school. Verder ben ik als Chinees in Nederland opgegroeid: thuis spreken we Chinees en eten we Chinees. Ik heb ook lang gezeten op de Chinese school, vanaf al zolang ik dingen kan onthouden eigenlijk. Aangezien mn ouders erg lang en tot laat werken, heb ik altijd al een grote verantwoordelijkheid gedragen voor het schoonhouden van het huis. Als lezer wil ik u/jou vooral meegeven dat ik, ongeacht wat er van mij verwacht wordt als huurder, me goed kan aanpassen aan de wensen van de verhuurder. Ik hoop u/jou hiermee voldoende overtuigd te hebben en mocht u/je een kamer aan mij willen bieden, graag :))
