My name is Alex, I’m 25, and I’m originally from a small city in Germany (near Dortmund). I got to travel quite a bit in the last years - did my masters in Salzburg, wrote my thesis from Morocco, then went to Sydney for a semester abroad and did a road trip through Australia together with my girlfriend afterwards. As much as I love van life and travelling, I’m really looking forward to getting back into some routine and being not too far away from friends and family now :) I’ll start a new job in Amsterdam this summer as a Machine Learning Engineer. I will be studying international relations, which is a subject I'm very passionate about! To pursue this, I am looking for accomodation starting this summer or fall. I've lived in flatshares for most of my previous studies, so I'm well-accustomed to living with others! I've also lived in a lot of different countries before - Germany, France, Canada, Mexico, India and Japan for example. I love getting to know new countries, new people and overall, cultural exchange and openness are very important to me when living abroad, especially towards the host country. As a roommate, I value exchange, respect and cleanliness in my sleeping area. I believe communication on how to live together comfortably is key. Is there a cleaning plan, or not?
