Hi! I’m Melike, a recent Computer Engineering graduate from Turkey, Istanbul. I’ll be moving to Enschede in September 15 for a 6-month Erasmus+ internship till March 14 at the University of Twente. In my free time, I enjoy playing the piano, roller skating and, especially, reading books. I’m an easy-going and considerate person, and I really enjoy spending time with the people around me. I also love cooking for the people I care about, so I’d be happy to occasionally cook and share a meal together. During the week, I’ll mostly be at my internship, but whenever I’m free, I’m always up for having a chat, watching something together, grabbing a drink or simply spending some time together at home. I’m really looking forward to meeting new people and making Enschede feel like home during my time here!

Mijn naam is Ivo, ik ben 24 jaar en sinds eind januari weer terug in Nederland na een fantastische reis van vier maanden door Zuidoost-Azië. Inmiddels ben ik alweer een paar maanden aan het werk als Supply Chain Analist bij Bol.com. Oorspronkelijk kom ik uit Amersfoort, maar voor mijn studie Technische Bedrijfskunde heb ik zes jaar in een gemengd studenenhuis in Enschede gewoond. Momenteel woon ik weer bij mijn ouders in Amersfoort, maar ik ben nu op zoek naar een fijne plek in Utrecht om een nieuw hoofdstuk te beginnen. In mijn vrije tijd ben ik graag actief. Ik ga graag naar de sportschool en fiets, hardloop of padel daarnaast ook. Ik heb jaren lang gevoetbald en het lijkt me leuk om dat in Utrecht weer op te pakken. In het weekend ben ik vaak met vrienden op pad, op een festival of bij een concert te vinden. Tegelijkertijd kan ik ook erg genieten van een rustige avond thuis met een goed boek, film of serie. Voor als jullie het wilden weten: mijn favoriete boek is Mythos, mijn favoriete serie is Better Call Saul en mijn favoriete film is Arrival. Daarnaast sta ik graag in de keuken om iets lekkers te koken, vooral in het weekend vind ik uitgebreid koken leuk om te doen. Als huisgenoot ben ik sociaal, netjes en makkelijk in de omgang. Ik houd van een huis waar ruimte is voor gezelligheid, zonder dat er verplichtingen zijn. In mijn vorige huis aten we regelmatig samen, organiseerden we filmavondjes, kerstdiners en zelfs een jaarlijkse huisvakantie.
