Hey! Ik ben Quinn, 18 jaar oud. Ik ben iemand die altijd wel in is voor spontane plannen, of dat nou een concert op een doordeweekse avond is of impulsief een reis door Centraal-Amerika (dit is ook echt gebeurd). Vanaf komend studiejaar begin ik aan de bachelor Spatial Planning and Design aan de RUG. Daarom ben ik op zoek naar een kamer in Groningen. Momenteel woon ik nog wat verder weg, waardoor dagelijks heen en weer reizen niet echt realistisch is. Ik vind het leuk om nieuwe dingen uit te proberen en ben daardoor altijd met wel iets bezig. Een paar dingen waar ik altijd enthousiast van word zijn: - Live muziek – Ik ga graag naar concerten en ben er vaak bij als er iets interessants speelt. Soms iets té fanatiek; ik heb een periode gehad waarin ik vijf weekenden achter elkaar naar een concert of evenement ging. Sporten – Actief bezig zijn en mezelf uitdagen vind ik belangrijk. Ik ben trots op het overleven van een gymrace en wil eigelijk ook nog heel graag de mudrun doen. Handwerk – Van houtbewerking tot schilderen, ik vind het leuk om dingen te maken of te fixen. - Reizen – Nieuwe plekken ontdekken blijft één van mijn favoriete dingen. Van 2 maanden solo reizen door Centraal-Amerika tot met vrienden de Camino lopen in Spanje. ik ben altijd wel in voor een avontuur. Toch zijn het voor mij uiteindelijk vooral de mensen die iets leuk maken. Ik vind het leuk om nieuwe mensen te leren kennen en samen dingen te doen. Of het nou iets is wat ik al jaren doe of iets compleet nieuws, zolang het gezellig is heb ik meestal wel interesse. Ik ben iemand die vaak gewoon “ja” zegt tegen spontane plannen. Als persoon ben ik sociaal en energiek, maar ik heb ook rust nodig. Ik zoek daarom een huis waar af en toe samen iets gedaan wordt, maar waar ook ruimte is voor je eigen ding. Niet constant drukte, maar ook zeker geen stil huis. Als huisgenoot ben ik netjes en houd ik rekening met anderen. Ik doe mijn deel in het huishouden en vind het leuk om af en toe samen te eten of te praten, maar respecteer ook ieders ruimte. I'm 24 years old and I'm a jazz musician, and this year I'll be studying at Codarts on an Erasmus program ☺️ To give a little context about who I am and where I come from: I'm from Spain and I've been a musician for more than ten years. Throughout my life, I've learned to play a few instruments (saxophone, piano, flute, bass, etc.), but my favorite is definitely the saxophone. I'm currently studying in Valencia, but I'm from a nearby city called Castellón (small and pretty), where you can be at the beach in 20 minutes by bike and where it seems like it's almost always spring. I am passionate about art, and I love making plans that have to do with it (visiting museums, seeing concerts, painting, designing... basically anything). I enjoy nature and making plans for the outdoors, I love animas, meeting new people, going out, going to the gym, going to a bar for a drink, among other things. But most of the time I like to be by myself at home. I love having time for myself, and probably my favorite thing in the world is to stay at home with a blanket and read, watch a movie, listen to music, or just relax. That's why I think it's very important to have a quiet and healthy living enviroment. And finally, I consider myself a very tidy and clean person who is easy to live with.
