Hi, I'm Dominik. In June I was admitted to study Computer Science at Saxion University and started organizing my new life as a first year student in Enschede looking for accommodation. I come from a multicultural family - my mother is of Slovak origin and my father is of Colombian origin, so I have both nationalities and I have applied in Saxion University with my Slovak nationality, although I currently reside with my family in the capital of Colombia, Bogota. I am 17 years old and I have just finished my secondary school in Bogota, but very soon I will turn 18 and I consider myself mature enough to move away from my family and embark on a new path at Saxion University. In my multicultural family I have learned since I was little to travel a lot and enjoy adventures of all kinds. From a very young age I have started racing swimming training and today I am the performance swimmer affiliated with the Swimming Federation of Colombia and also of Slovakia. I hope to continue with this hobby also in Holland, since I like sports in general. Outside of sports, perhaps like most young people of my age, I like music and video games. Hoi! Ik ben Liena en ik ben 18 jaar en woon momenteel nog thuis in Wageningen. Vanaf eind augustus verhuis ik naar Enschede omdat ik ga starten met de opleiding Forensisch Onderzoek aan Saxion. In mijn vrije tijd korfbal ik bij KV Wageningen, een van de grotere korfbalverenigingen van de regio. Daarnaast houd ik erg van lezen en puzzelen. Ik vind het leuk om dingen uit te pluizen en op te lossen, wat ook goed aansluit bij mijn studie die ik komend najaar ga beginnen . Hoewel ik nog niet op mezelf heb gewoond, kijk ik er juist naar uit om die stap te zetten. Ik ben zelfstandig, netjes en vind het belangrijk om rekening met elkaar te houden. Ik ben altijd wel in voor een praatje of een gezamenlijke activiteit, maar kan me ook prima vermaken met een boek of een puzzel.
