To study in Eindhoven was my dream, since I am very much interested in mathematics and physics and like the vibe of this nice city. Due to growing up in Brussels, I have picked up some basic Dutch skills, but I still need to learn it much better. Just recently, I moved to Den Haag to start my 4-year PhD in oceanography at TU Delft, which began in May. To integrate into Dutch culture, I’ll soon be attending a language course and meeting up at a language café every week. For nearly the past 10 years, I’ve lived in shared flats and always had great experiences sharing a home with interesting people from diverse ages, backgrounds, nationalities, and genders.
