I'm looking for a place from April to July, minimum, as I've got a full-time paid internship contract in Amsterdam. I'm shy and sociable, and I love all cultural and language exchange. I enjoy my solo activities like drawing, cinema and walking around the city with a podcast, but I appreciate living with a roommate and I'm flexible when it comes to inviting people over.

I am a clean, sociable and attentive 25yo Masters of Economics student at the UvA coming to the end of my study. I work part time and am looking for something for 3-6 months with possible extension in a respectful space anywhere in Amsterdam. I am not fussy and have so far lived with many international flatmates and built lasting connections. My budget is a maximum of 800 euros incl, and 700 without a contract. I am Carmen, 29, originally from Austria and currently, I work as Marketing Manager at a Sales company in Houthaven (and loving it!) Initially, I moved here to study, but, eventually, I fell in love with the Netherlands and decided to stay 🤍 Where do I live now and why am I moving? Currently, I live in an apartment in Nieuw-West with one roommate, however, my rental contract was only one year, so now is the time for me to look for a new place I can call home. When am I moving? I am looking for a room from June onward but I am flexible and can also move in sooner! Am I tidy? I am Austrian, I think being organized and tidy is in our DNA 😄 But seriously, I think when sharing your living space it's important to clean up after yourself and just be considerate of one another (and have open communication!) Who else am I bringing? No one! It's just me and my 3 plants (but they are barely hanging on for dear life… so we'll see if they make it) BUT I am always buying fresh flowers (see picture as a reference 🌸) What do I do when I am not working? Generally, I am a quite quiet and relaxed person. Since my job is very demanding, I am usually tired when I get home. However, I am always up for a chat :) Weekends I either spend with friends at a nice brunch spot, go to a museum, the gym, or a nice walk, or just relax with a nice book. Am I a party girl? On a good day, I barely make it to 11.00 pm before I hit the bed 😴 but then again, if you wanna have a glass of wine in the kitchen and talk about life...say less 🍷 Some other things you should know? I don't have any pets, I don't smoke and I would like to rent a room for at least 1 year, but preferably longer if that's possible.
