Hello! I'm a long-time self-employed multidisciplinary creative professional (photographer/creative director/media background) recently relocated to the Netherlands from the U.S. (Feb., 2026). I have a valid visa & residence permit, a business registered with the KvK, a growing network of Dutch friends and a sense of community, having previously spent extended stays in the NL twice in two years. This time, my move is permanent. I have never felt more at home than I do with my feet in the ground in the Netherlands. I am in LOVE with Het Gooi region, and am temporarily staying in Huizen. I know every trail, every neighborhood, farm and public transport access from Huizen and Blaricum to Laren and Hilversum. I'm also familiar with and open to Bussum and Almere, LOVE Baarn, Hoorn, Haarlem, Amersfoot and Den Haag - where I have friends. I'm aware of the housing shortage, and will happily consider any availability within a 90-minute commute by public transportation to Amsterdam, where much of my work seems to be. I have excellent rental history and personal references, and would be delighted to be the dream tenant you hope for, far beyond just the standard financial responsibility. I care for my space, have a green thumb, and love people, adore animals, art, golf, opera, and even the raindrops most complain about - there's serenity in gray days, too! I would love my independence and a studio or apartment, but I also understand the housing shortage is real, so I'd be open to discussing sharing in a bright, comfortable place with someone kind and grateful to be alive, as long as there is SOME privacy and room to breathe. :) I have no pets, but huge bonus if you do! ;) Please reach out if you feel I could be a good fit for your space.
