Mijn naam is Emma-Jane. Ik ben 27 jaar en werk als onderzoeker bij het Erasmus MC. Vanwege omstandigheden moest ik mijn eerdere woonruimte verlaten. Nu ben ik op zoek naar een fijne woning voor mijzelf. Omdat ik de laatste fase van mijn onderzoek inga, is stabiliteit en een vaste woonplek voor mij erg belangrijk. Ik kom oorspronkelijk uit Zuid-Afrika. Na mijn studie in Duitsland ben ik naar Nederland gekomen voor mijn PhD-onderzoek. Ik begrijp Nederlands goed en kan het ook goed schrijven. Zelf spreken vind ik nog wat lastiger, maar ik ben het actief aan het leren. Daarnaast ben ik al geruime tijd in een stabiele en toegewijde relatie. Toch woon ik graag zelfstandig, omdat ik merk dat dit het beste werkt voor mijn onderzoek en werkzaamheden. Een rustige eigen woonruimte helpt mij om mij volledig op mijn werk te kunnen concentreren. In mijn vrije tijd breng ik graag tijd door met vrienden en ben ik graag in de natuur. Vooral een lange fietstocht langs een meer of de zee vind ik heerlijk. Holland heeft inmiddels echt mijn hart gestolen. Ik voel mij hier thuis en zou mij hier graag voor de lange termijn willen vestigen. Ik zie mezelf hier voor langere tijd wonen, me vestigen en een gezin stichten. Daarom ben ik op zoek naar een woning waar ik met plezier en voor langere tijd kan wonen. Ik ben Simon, 22 jaar oud en ga aankomend studiejaar bezig met een vervolgopleiding in Nijmegen aan de Radboud Universiteit. Indien reizende vanaf mijn woonplaats, ben ik vier uur per dag kwijt met de heen- en terugreis, wat maakt dat ik opzoek ben naar een nabijgelegen kamer/studio in Nijmegen. Alhoewel ik mij geen ervaringsdeskundige acht betreffende het op kamers gaan, heb ik zowel in Denemarken als in Nijmegen een halfjaar kennis kunnen opdoen wegens stage.
