Hi :) ! My name is Hannah, and I will start my Master’s degree in Financial Economics at Maastricht University at the end of August 2026. I am originally from Madrid and have a German, Spanish and Peruvian background. I speak German, Spanish and English and have previously lived in several different countries, so I really enjoy meeting people from different cultures. I would describe myself as responsible, tidy, open-minded and respectful. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends, going to the gym, playing volleyball, swimming, reading and cooking. I also like visiting museums, discovering new places and trying creative activities such as arts and crafts. At home, I enjoy having a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. I would love to occasionally cook together, have a chat, watch a film or do something as housemates, while also respecting everyone’s privacy and personal space. I have already lived in shared accommodation and am comfortable communicating openly and taking responsibility for keeping common areas clean. Hi everyone! I'm Lola, 22 years old and from Vienna, Austria. I'll be moving to the Netherlands at the end of August to get my Masters in Crisis and Security Management at Leiden University (The Hague Campus). Ideally, I'm trying to find a room in a shared apartment/house with roommates or a small apartment/studio either in The Hague, Leiden or Delft to rent for a little more than a year starting mid-August. I'm very excited to be studying "abroad" (or away from home, I guess) again, as I find that experiencing new cultures is one of the best things a young person can do. I'm a huge fan of traveling and I got my Bachelor's degree in the United States, so I think living somewhere different in Europe for my Masters will be a cool change. I'm used to living with people, I've always grown up with siblings and spent the last four years living with 1, 2 and all the way up to 6 people, so I'd say I'm quite adaptable and know how roommate life works. As for my free time, I looove all things food and going out to eat, hanging out with my roommates, reading, going out on the weekends but also having fun nights in. I would describe myself as outgoing, responsible, independent, easygoing, and fun to be around. I'm also a very active person, I've played tennis my whole life and played college sports while in the US but generally enjoy most sports (especially volleyball and football). I don't speak Dutch yet BUT I'll be learning, so for now I hope my German and English (and humble French) will suffice :). Excited to meet you guys!!
