Hey, Marius here! Just moved to Amsterdam a few weeks ago to work at Flying Pig Downtown and I'm looking for permanent accomodation. I've been working or volunteering in hostels for a while, so I became very welcoming and friendly. My favourite activity with my friends or guests? Playing Minecraft until late and joking around. Ik ben Sanne en in juli word ik 19 jaar. Ik woon in Borne. Na de zomer wil ik gaan beginnen aan Psychologie aan de UU. Ik werk momenteel bij de Albert Heijn als caissière/zelfscanmedewerker. Ik speel nu volleybal en wil dat misschien ook gaan doen bij een vereniging in de buurt van Utrecht. Verder train/coach ik nog een meidenteam. Daarnaast ga ik graag naar de sportschool en speel ik af en toe beachvolleybal in de zomer met vrienden van de volleybal. Dat was vast wel positief bedoeld toch? 😂 Hallo, Mijn naam is Naomie en ik ben 24 jaar oud. Ik ben heel gepassioneerd over onderwijs, mensen rechten, kunst en beta vakken en heb mijn studiekeuzes hiernaar afgestemd. Ik krijg heel vaak te horen van mensen dat ik introverted kan overkomen (een echte type A persoon 😅), maar ik zou mezelf omschrijven als een ambivert. Ik begin mijn studie aan de TU delft Civiele Techniek in september, en hoop daarbij de komende 5 jaar in delft te kunnen wonen (hopelijk wat langer zelfs) Als ik aan mijn toekomst denk, dan zie ik mezelf in een technische carrière wat te maken heeft met woonbouw. In mijn vrije tijd hou ik ervan om met mijn vrienden af te spreken, nieuwe talen te leren (een recente hobby) en veel te lezen. Je zal me vaak vinden in de bibliotheek of in mijn kamer, werkend aan mijn studie. Als een huisgenoot kan je van mij een respectvolle en verantwoordelijk manier van communicatie verwachten. Ik ben zelf heel erg georganiseerd en schoon. Als het om samenleven gaat, ben ik super verantwoordelijk en netjes. Je hoeft je geen zorgen te maken over een rommelige gemeenschappelijke ruimte of de vuile vaat die zich opstapelt. Bovendien ben ik altijd in voor een goede sfeer en het creëren van een positieve leefomgeving. We zijn tenslotte grotendeels allemaal studenten, en een vieze woonruimte is geen manier om te leven als je ook nog eens diep in projecten en huiswerk zit. My name is Olivia, and I will be moving from California to the Netherlands in August 2026 to begin the Master's programme in Physics and Astronomy at the Universiteit van Amsterdam, specializing in GRAPPA (Gravitation Astroparticle Physics Amsterdam). I am 26 years old and recently completed my degree in Astrophysics at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech). In addition to my studies, I run a private mathematics and science tutoring business, which I will continue remotely on a reduced schedule while completing my master's degree. I have lived independently since 2018 and have rented my current apartment since 2019. I am a quiet, responsible, and respectful tenant who takes pride in keeping my living space clean and well maintained. Outside of academics, I enjoy cooking, reading, spending time outdoors, and exploring new places. I am excited not only to study in Amsterdam, but also to become part of a new community and experience life in the Netherlands. I will be living alone and will not be bringing any pets with me.
