Currently, however, I'm on an exchange programme in China so I'm looking for a new place to live for when I return. Due to the distance I will unfortunately not be able to attent viewings in person, only online. A little about me: I'm a very sociable and easygoing Italian-German girl that enjoys hanging out with friends, spending time outside and always tries to find new things to do. My friends would describe me as an open-minded person, that smiles most of the time, although I might be quite shy and reserved in the beginning. I love cooking, especially Italian, Thai recipes, or trying out new 10 minute recepies that turn out to be one hour long. I have a passion for learning new languages (Chinese at the moment). I'm very used to sharing space as I already lived with other people twice and in China I'm currently living in a shared 12 square meter room and share common facilities (showers, toilets, and washingmachines) with other 80 people. Hoi hoi! Ik ben Vera, 21 jaar en ik zoek een gezellig huisje in Leiden om in te trekken. In april heb ik mijn mbo-verpleegkunde afgerond en vanaf september ga ik door met de hbo-verpleegkunde aan de Hogeschool Leiden. Dat doe ik duaal, wat eigenlijk betekent dat ik vooral werk en maar één dag per week naar school ga. Ik zit dus al wat meer in het werkende leven, maar wil m’n studententijd natuurlijk niet zomaar voorbij laten gaan. Over mij: ik ben een spontane en enthousiaste meid die houdt van gezelligheid. Samen koken, borrelen, een spelletje, feestje meepakken of gewoon lekker met een filmpje op de bank vind ik allemaal top. Maar ik vind het ook fijn om af en toe even mijn sociale batterij op te laden en m’n eigen ding te doen. Door mijn onregelmatige diensten ben ik niet bij een studentenvereniging gegaan, maar juist daarom lijkt het me extra leuk om in een huis te wonen waar altijd wat gezelligheid om me heen is :)) Verder hou ik ervan om lekker actief bezig te zijn en ben ik eigenlijk altijd in voor gezelligheid of een spontaan plan. Good day, I would like to take this moment to introduce myself. My name is Marcel Els, and I have recently come over from South Africa on a temporary work contract with Otto workforce EU. Through the Otto workforce EU agency, I am currently working at the Albert Heijn Distribution Centre in Pijnacker. While I do currently have accommodation as supplied by Otto Workforce, I find myself enamoured with the country. This means that I will be endeavouring to bring my fiancée over so that we can start a new life here. To this end, I will need to find accommodation that is more suitable for the two of us as a couple. Ideally, we would like to find a place either in Delft or Rotterdam, closer to Pijnacker, in order to access my current work better. I do intend to seek more permanent employment closer to the end of my contract and feel that the indicated location is well-positioned for me to do so I am a German passport holder and EU citizen, but grew up in South Africa, hence am currently only fluent in English and Afrikaans - a derivative of the Dutch language. As I am only recently relocated to the Netherlands (September 2025), the only rental reference I have would be from my previous accommodation in South Africa and my current rental contract via Otto Workforce. On a personal level, I consider myself to be a God-fearing individual, trustworthy and reliable, with strong moral convictions. In South Africa, I was also a registered professional athlete, leading to exposure with many different people. This experience has allowed me to learn how to integrate within any community and to actively contribute to the same in a positive manner. Daarnaast huur ik al meer dan zeven jaar bij dezelfde verhuurder, die graag een verhuurdersverklaring voor me opstelt.
