This time, my move is permanent. I have never felt more at home than I do with my feet in the ground in the Netherlands. I am in LOVE with Het Gooi region, where I'm and am temporarily staying. I know every trail, every neighborhood, farm and public transport access from Bussum, Huizen and Blaricum to Laren and Hilversum. I'm also familiar with Naarden, LOVE Baarn, Hoorn, Haarlem, Amersfoot and Den Haag - where I have friends. I'm aware of the housing shortage, and will happily consider any availability within a 90-minute commute by public transportation to Amsterdam, where much of my work seems to be. I have an excellent rental history and personal references and I care for my space. I have a green thumb, love people, adore animals, art, am newly enthusiastic about golf, opera, and even the raindrops most complain about - there's serenity in gray days, too! I would love my independence and a studio or apartment, but I also understand the housing shortage yields few or unaffordable rentals, so I'd be open to discussing sharing in a bright, comfortable place with someone kind and respectful, who appreciates some privacy and room to breathe. :) I have no pets, but huge bonus if you do! ;) Registration is necessary. Hey, mijn naam is Roy en ik studeer Communicatie aan de Hanze. Volgend jaar wil ik International Relations and International Organization aan de RUG studeren. Ik woon in een klein dorp vlakbij Heerenveen, dus ver van Groningen (een kleine 1 uur en 25 min met de bus). Hier werk ik in het weekend in een boekenwinkel en heb daar een vast inkomen. Ik hou van af en toe uitgaan en rook niet.

Ik speel een paar instrumenten, daaronder gitaar, piano en accordeon :) Ik zou het leuk vinden soms samen te zitten en te kletsen, gemenzaam te koken of zelf kleine activiteiten te plannen, maar soms wil ik me even ook gewoon terugtrekken en uitrusten. Leven en laten leven zo te zeggen.
