I'm naturally curious and enjoy discovering new cultures, exploring new cities, travelling, photography and playing badminton. I love meeting people from different backgrounds and believe that some of the best learning happens outside the classroom. At home, I appreciate a clean, peaceful and respectful environment. I'm considerate, tidy and easy to live with—I enjoy spending time with others, but I also value quiet evenings to study, read or simply recharge. I'm looking for a long-term room or studio with BRP registration, ideally in The Hague or within a reasonable commuting distance. My accommodation is fully supported by my parents, and I also have a local support network in the Netherlands, including a family friend who can act as a guarantor if needed. After settling into university life, I hope to find a part-time job to gain experience and become more involved in the local community. However, my studies will always remain my top priority. More than just finding a place to stay, I'm hoping to find a home where everyone feels comfortable, respected and welcome.

My name is Henri. I live with my parents, my two brothers and our dog in a little town near Bremen (Germany). After finishing school i’ve worked a bit to travel to Asia with my girlfriend. After that gap year, I’ve started an apprenticeship as an industrial clerk at a big company in my hometown. They produce plastic parts for example the food Industrie or the automotive Industrie. Now I’m finished with my apprenticeship. To improve my skills and learn something new I’m going to study industrial engineering and management at the twente university. Here in my hometown most of the time I’m going to the nearby CrossFit-Box, play Paddel, go for a run, go swimming or play Beachvolleyball with friends. I’ve also played football, tennis and handball in the past. So as you can see I love to try new things and sports out. Besides this I love to explore new cities and countries around the world. This is one of my favourite “hobby’s “ because you learn always something new about different cultures, different people and (maybe for me the most important thing) about new kitchens. And this is another hobby of mine. I love to cook. The Asien and the Italien kitchen are my most favourite kitchens. Every Christmas me and my two brothers cook for the family a special dish. So I would love to cook also with you guys every evening. The funniest part of cooking is to do it with friends. Sitting and eating together in the evening is an everyday ritual in our household. So I would like to continue with this ritual maybe by you. The rest of my free time I spend with my girlfriend or with my clique. Most of the time we are doing activities like game nights, driving to a sea, watching football or other stuff like this. We also organise special activities like in march we were in a snow dome or a weekend trip to Wangerooge. In my opinion these are the most fun activities. At the weekends we like to going party or only sit together, drink a few beer and play some cards.

About me: I am Bernardo, but everyone calls me Bernie, I am 21 years old (22 in August :)), I am from Portugal and this will be my second year living abroad in the Netherlands, as a student. To continue my MSc in Biomedical engineering at the university of the Twente, I will be doing an internship at the Radboud University Medical Center from September to January (winter semester). For this reason, I am looking for housing approximately within that period! I am used to shared living, and I am absolutely comfortable living with any gender. I like to socialize and chill with my roommates, whether to do more cozy activities like playing games, watching movies and cooking or to grab a drink and go on a night out. In terms of shared living, I would say that I am a respectful person, always being aware of the noise I make, while being tidy and give my roommates their space! Personality wise, I am really into neuroscience, I am really passionate on knowing how the brain works and how we can model it.
