Hi everyone! I am Giulia, a 22 y/o recent graduate of Biotechnology at the University of Padova, Italy. From February 2023 I will start my post-graduation full-time internship in the city of Groningen, which will last 6 months. I am therefore searching for a room/shared apartment from the first days of February until the end of July. I am open to considering every area of the city, so please don't be shy and send me a PM! My current budget is max. 500-550 euros a month, and I would prefer a furnished apartment (please note: I am willing to pay extra to the previous owner of the furniture). I would prefer a single bedroom, but I will also consider a shared bedroom. Some relevant info to know about me: I speak English fluently, and I also can communicate in Italian (of course), Spanish and Portuguese. I already had two co-living experiences, one in Italy (during my Bachelor's) and one in Spain (during my 6-months-long Erasmus in Granada), and both went very well in every aspect! The relationship I had with my ex-roommates, both in Padova and in Granada, was the best and I'm sure this co-living experience will be super as well. I am, in fact, a friendly person, but I also need my alone time. I'm down to get to know each other; I'm not saying we have to be best friends, but I would like to do things like occasionally watch TV together and host cookouts for friends. I don't mind having people over during the day and the night provided that the nighttime would be silent enough to be able to get good sleep during the week (since I will be working my 8-5 five days a week, this is very important to me). I care about the cleaning of the house: I clean my dishes after every meal and I would like to have an organized weekly schedule to be able to divide our roles equally and to keep the flat clean. I am into partying on the weekends and I'm open to the idea of my roommates and I hosting small parties - I would just like to know about these ahead of time. Also, I don't smoke but I don't mind if other people do. During the weekends, I would also love to travel and be able to visit different cities in the Netherlands and in Europe. In my free time, I like to watch TV series, draw, and learn about new things, and cook! Hey, afgelopen september ben ik begonnen aan de opleiding fysiotherapie hier in enschede. Hallo! Ik ben een 23 jarige dame die graag uit haar studentenkamer wil nu ik ben begonnen met werken. Ik ben werkzaam in het HMC Westeinde op de verpleegafdeling. Daarnaast werk ik in de eerste hulp op evenementen en festivals. Dit doe ik zowel vrijwillig voor het Rode Kruis en als bijbaan voor EMS. Alsof dat nog niet genoeg is, werk ik ook als trauma acteur bij oefeningen om zo hulpverleners op te leiden in het verrichten van medische handelingen. Erg veelzijdig werk dus! Naast al dat harde werken geniet ik erg van een boek lezen of om bezig te zijn in mijn bullet journal. Ik ben wat aan de introverte kant, dus tijd voor mezelf vrijmaken zie ik als een prioriteit. Maar gezelligheid is ook een must! Zo nu en dan vind ik het ook super leuk om met vrienden en familie uit eten te gaan of een leuk uitstapje te maken. Bij vragen, stuur gerust een berichtje!
