I'm Sergio, a 20-year-old (turning 21 in November) Italian student currently living near Geneva, Switzerland. This September I'll be starting a Master's in Experimental Physics in Utrecht, after finishing my Bachelor's in Geneva. I've grown up in an international environment and I'm really looking forward to being part of Utrecht's diverse student community. For the past three years I've shared university apartments with three housemates, so I'm well used to communal living — I'm clean, respectful of shared spaces, and quiet. I'm a sociable person who enjoys a good hangout, but I equally value my quiet time. I speak Italian, French, and English fluently, and I'm excited to start learning Dutch. Outside of studies, I love sports — especially team or racquet sports — and spending time outdoors, particularly hiking in the Alps near Geneva. I won't be able to visit in person before September, but I'm able to start renting immediately if needed. Financially, I'm fully supported by my parents until I find part-time work. I'm 24 years old and I'm a jazz musician, and this year I'll be studying at Codarts on an Erasmus program ☺️ To give a little context about who I am and where I come from: I'm from Spain and I've been a musician for more than ten years. Throughout my life, I've learned to play a few instruments (saxophone, piano, flute, bass, etc.), but my favorite is definitely the saxophone. I'm currently studying in Valencia, but I'm from a nearby city called Castellón (small and pretty), where you can be at the beach in 20 minutes by bike and where it seems like it's almost always spring. I am passionate about art, and I love making plans that have to do with it (visiting museums, seeing concerts, painting, designing... basically anything). I enjoy nature and making plans for the outdoors, I love animas, meeting new people, going out, going to the gym, going to a bar for a drink, among other things. But most of the time I like to be by myself at home. I love having time for myself, and probably my favorite thing in the world is to stay at home with a blanket and read, watch a movie, listen to music, or just relax. That's why I think it's very important to have a quiet and healthy living enviroment. And finally, I consider myself a very tidy and clean person who is easy to live with. I am very excited about this opportunity to live in Rotterdam and meet new people. ☺️🧡
