Hi, I’m Patricia, 25. I’m an art student and I work part time at the Moco Museum. I’ve lived in Amsterdam for five years now, I’m originally from Finland and moved here for studies, but after graduating from the university with a bachelors in Media and Culture two years ago I was still so in love with this city I decided to stay indefinitely and now I just started studying again at the Rietveld Art academy. In my free time I enjoy going for runs and walks, making art (I mainly draw and do digital art), cooking elaborate meals and watching good movies. I like to be out of the house quite a bit and have a busy schedule with work and school, so as a flatmate I can be absent quite a lot during the day (that doesn’t mean I wouldn’t like to get to know and possibly become friends the person I live with!). As a person I am very extroverted and can be a real chatter box, but I find that when I am home I am the opposite. For me the house is a place to relax and recharge. My ideal flatmate would be someone who respects my privacy and need for alone time, but also someone who I could laugh and chat with now and again. I’m currently urgently looking for a place because the flat I live in right now is intolerable. I trusted the wrong landlord a couple months back and I am now living in a dirty, overcrowded and unsafe place where I can’t eat, sleep or shower properly. I would preferably move out as soon as possible. I am looking for a place with registration and I’d like to settle for at least a year.
