Ik woon momenteel in Delft en werk als QA specialist in Rotterdam. Ik heb ervaring met het samenwonen met huisgenoten van verschillende nationaliteiten en heb dat altijd erg leuk gevonden. Ik ben vrij zelfstandig, maar vind het ook leuk om af en toe met mijn huisgenoten tijd door te brengen als het goed uitkomt. Ik ben netjes, georganiseerd en houd van een gezellige sfeer thuis. Daarnaast spreek ik Nederlands, Spaans, Engels en Farsi, en ik heb de Nederlandse en perzische nationaliteit. Mijn hobby's zijn leuke dingen doen met vrienden, reizen, boeken lezen en sporten.

I am retired, was working my whole life at the university as professor (computing science and cognitive psychology). I have a nice garden, working in it is my new hobby; I like to cook but also I like to learn new dishes! So we have to see what we can do together. My hobbies are reading, especially about history, e.g. history of Amsterdam, and following politics in USA and the Netherlands. Further, I like to watch soccer, Ajax is (still) my favorite team, and like to follow professional bicycling. So in general I am a quiet person, and I hope the student will also be quiet. I would like to see an independent tenant but at the same time I am happy to provide assistance when needed and to tell you things about Amsterdam and the Netherlands. I am curious to the life where you come from, and I hope that the same applies to you. Preferably you are studying at one of the universities in Amsterdam. It is important for me that the student is here in Amsterdam for studying and not for holidays, so putting the study on the first place. So I prefer a student who is doing a Master or involved with a PhD project

As I attended a British school in the Canaries since I was 4, I am bilingual (English and Spanish). I am very happy with my current room and my landlady but my brother is also coming to study here so I move out to give him my room. So I need one for myself.

Hi! I'm Yannick, 21 years (I'll be 22 by the time I'm moving) old and originally from Thuringia, Germany. I just finished my Bachelor’s degree in E-Commerce and will start my Master’s at Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences (RUAS) in September. Until then, I’m working and preparing for the move – including improving my Dutch! I’m looking for a furnished (or partly furnished) studio, apartment or a room in a shared flat in Rotterdam, Vlaardingen, Schiedam or Capelle aan den IJssel. My budget is around €800/month (including bills), and ideally I’d like to move in sometime in August (July is also possible). As a roommate or tenant, I’m respectful, calm and tidy. I enjoy a clean and relaxed environment but I’m also open and social when the moment calls for it. I don’t smoke and I’m easygoing when it comes to food – just not a fan of mushrooms 😉. Outside of work and uni, I stay active: I’ve been playing football since I was a kid, I go to the gym, run regularly and love to cook for friends and family. On weekends I’m always up for social events or a good party, but I balance that with a healthy and active lifestyle. I plan to stay in Rotterdam for at least the full duration of my Master’s (1 year, possibly longer). Hello! My name is Liadha (pronounced Lia), I am a 31 year old Irish female who is looking for a room in a place shared with like-minded people. I’m new to Amsterdam but not new to living abroad; I spent the last 6 years in Toronto, Canada, which I loved! I work in digital marketing and have a job in this field in Amsterdam, which is located in Amsterdam Zuid. I rented an apartment by myself for the past 3 years, so am used to managing the responsibilities of being a tenant, and can provide a great reference from the landlord. Prior to this, I lived in shared accommodation from the age of 17 and grew up with 4 sisters, so I am very much accustomed to sharing a living space! I like to work out or go for a run in the mornings, then generally work 9-5. I keep weekday evenings pretty chill, generally just cooking dinner and watching TV, but I like to meet friends for food or drinks later in the week and on weekends. I love trying new bars and restaurants so am excited to explore Amsterdam! I don’t know a lot of people in Amsterdam yet so am hoping to hang out with my new roommate(s) from time to time but I’m also totally fine with it if they like to keep to themselves. I love TV//film, good food, fashion, hiking, pilates, reading, travelling… if it sounds like a good fit, I’d love to arrange a viewing and meet properly :)

Hey! I’m Clara, a 21-year-old biomedical engineering student from Madrid, Spain. I’ll be spending the first semester of 2025-2026 in Twente for my Erasmus – it’s the 4th year of my bachelor. I’m a super energetic, sociable person who’s always up for new experiences and spontaneous plans. I’ve lived abroad during the summers (twice in Austria doing volunteer work), which gave me a love for languages, cultures, and international vibes – I speak basic German and can’t wait to learn some Dutch while I’m there! Outside my studies, sports play a big role in my life: I’m a runner (I just finished my first half-marathon in April!), a lifelong swimmer, and dreaming of doing an Ironman 70.3 someday – step by step! I’m also passionate about photography, especially capturing fun moments with friends – I’m definitely the one who always brings a camera to keep the memories alive.
