I enjoy music but i absolutely looove concerts and festivals, i always try to see my favorite bands live!! I can cook but my preferred thing to do in the kitchen is definitely baking, I can bake some great sweets and i love sharing my creations with others! Im also always up to trying new things, hobbies are my fave past time and playing video, board games or just spending time with my friends is something I also enjoy very much. Ik ben Menno, 17 (in mei 18) jaar en ga aankomend schooljaar beginnen aan de studie mechanical engineering aan de TU. Ik kom uit Urk en hoop voor de komende studentenjaren in Enschede te kunnen doorbrengen. Ik ben een sociale en actieve gast die niet graag de hele avond alleen op zijn kamer zit. Daar horen natuurlijk ook een aantal hobby's bij. Ik hou van muziek maken en doe dit als slagwerker bij Showband Urk, waar we ook van gezelligheid houden. Ook ben ik bezig met audio- en videotechniek. Dit doe ik als geluidsman voor een kerk, maar ook bij feestjes kan je me vinden om de techniek te regelen. Ook kan een stukje sport niet ontbreken. Ik doe de laatste tijd aan hardlopen maar diverse sporten vind ik leuk om te doen.

Ik ben doof, rustig en stil van karakter. Ik hou ervan om verschillende steden te ontdekken. In 2022 ben ik naar het Max Planck Instituut gekomen om als onderzoeksassistent op het gebied van gebarentaal te werken, en ik hou echt van mijn werk. Toen ik nog getrouwd was, zijn wij als gezin van Turkije naar Nederland verhuisd. Door meningsverschillen met mijn partner hebben wij recent besloten uit elkaar te gaan, waardoor ik nu alleen woon. Ik heb een knappe zoon van 4 jaar oud. Hij woont momenteel bij zijn vader. In het weekend breng ik graag tijd met mijn zoon door en vind ik het leuk om samen buiten activiteiten te doen.

I have been living in Amsterdam for almost three years and am currently studying my bachelor's at Amsterdam University College, specializing in media and film. I'm currently looking for a new home to move into in Amsterdam because I will be studying digital media for my master's at the University of Amsterdam next semester. I am also working as a content creator intern at DokaLab, a startup that makes black and white photo printing kits, which is located in Sloterdijk. I lived in a shared apartment for a year, so I have experience having roommates and sharing a space, but currently live alone. I like to spend a lot of time to myself so I would be very happy to have a single apartment, but am also open to living in a shared apartment to have roommates and meet new people! I'm a very social person who's easy to get along with, but do most of my socializing outside and rarely have people over, which I know can be an issue with sharing an apartment. I'm therefore not really into partying or drinking at home and prefer doing calmer, quieter things. I'm also very clean and tidy, don't smoke and like to cook. Currently, in my free time, I love watching movies, photography, video editing, crocheting, scrapbooking, and doing miscellaneous activities in the center.
