Ik vind het namelijk het leukste om met mensen te zijn en zoek altijd wel de gezelligheid op. Daarom spreekt jullie huis mij erg aan omdat ik denk dat ik in jullie huis precies de reuring en gezelligheid kan vinden die ik zoek in een huis en waarmee ik denk dat ik een goede toevoeging kan zijn voor het huis. Hey everybody, my name is Max, I’m a student from Germany, and I’ll be starting my HBO Master’s studies in Rotterdam this September. Therefor I’m currently looking for a nice and affordable place to live in the city. Here’s a bit about me: I’m 23 years old and completed my Bachelor’s degree in Jazz Saxophone in Hannover, Germany. (If you’re wondering: I always practice at the university, not at home...so noise won’t be an issue!) For my Master’s, I wanted to study abroad and was lucky to be accepted at Codarts Rotterdam. I’d describe myself as a relaxed, tidy, and reliable person. I spend most of my time making music, playing concerts, and doing related projects. In my free time, I love climbing (indoors/outdoors), bouldering, spending time with my girlfriend, hanging out with friends or just relaxing by myself. I’m not a big party person, but every now and then I enjoy going out. Hi everyone! I’m Irene, Italian, originally from Bergamo but living in Perugia for the past two years. I’m a (forensic) psychologist, now doing my PhD in Gender Studies, but my research and daily work in Perugia are still rooted in psychology. From October I’ll be moving to Tilburg for six months for my visiting research period at Tilburg University – and that’s why I’m looking for a place to stay! Ideally, I’d love to find something in Tilburg, but I’m also open to nearby areas if they’re well connected by train. I’ve lived in Maastricht before, where I completed my MSc in Forensic Psychology, and then spent about a year in Rotterdam – probably the Dutch city I love the most, although I honestly consider the Netherlands as a whole my second home. Who knows, maybe I’ll be back living here for good once I finish my PhD in Italy! As for me: people say I’m nice and easy-going :) I enjoy talking and listening to other people’s stories and just having a good chat. At the same time, I also like quality time on my own – listening to music, reading, watching series, or enjoying the outdoors. I love cycling (gravel is my favorite!), running, and swimming. I also adore long walks in nature, and I never miss a chance to take pictures of flowers, the sky, or anything that catches my eye.
