I’m a 29-years-old Italian girl who moved to the Netherlands in March 2024, currently live in Bergschenhoek and work for a company in Zoetermeer with permanent contract. I like learning and speaking foreign languages (I know English and German at a B2 level and French at a A2 level and am currently learning Dutch), going for walks, going to concerts, hanging out with friends and watching movies (both at home and at the cinema). Ik ben Mara, 22 jaar en woon momenteel in Nijmegen. Momenteel die doe ik een tussenjaar na een Bachelor Psychologie. Tijdens mijn studententijd stond ik altijd open voor contact met medestudenten. Zo nam ik deel aan een studentenvereniging gericht op theater en deed ik mee aan verschillende cursussen in sport zoals badminton en boksen. Met vrienden vind ik het erg leuk goede gesprekken te voeren, te wandelen en iets te drinken in een café. Zelf sport ik graag, houd ik van tekenen, lezen en series en films kijken. Ook werk ik al anderhalf jaar bij een mentale support lijn waarbij ik emotionele ondersteuning bied aan jongvolwassenen. Tijdens mijn tussenjaar ben ik gaan reizen door verschillende landen in Europa en doe ik vrijwilligerswerk waarbij ik in contact kom met mensen van verschillende religies en culturen. Zo werk ik momenteel in een boeddhistisch centrum en ga ik binnenkort werken in een vluchtelingenkamp. Dit sluit ook aan bij de master die ik wil gaan doen in Groningen; Applied Social Psychology. Daarnaast heb ik ook allerlei verschillende sporten uitgeprobeerd zoals zeilen, go karting en duiken. Ik zou mezelf beschrijven als iemand die open staat voor contact met anderen, nieuwsgierig, hardwerkend en betrouwbaar is. In verband met mijn master zoek ik vanaf uiterlijk september een kamer in Groningen :)

In mijn vrije tijd ben ik veel met muziek bezig. Ik hou van concerten en festivals en werk daarnaast bij de Nobel, een poppodium in Leiden. Verder hou ik van wandelen en katten. Ik vind het gezellig om af en toe samen te eten, een drankje te doen of een spelletje te doen, maar ik ben geen enorme party animal.
