I just finished my MSc in International Financial Management at the University of Groningen, and I'm now in the transition from studies into my first proper job in finance and analytics. I'm giving up my room in Groningen at the end of April and looking for a place for up to six months while I settle into work. I can move in as soon as possible and I'm flexible on the exact start date. On the practical side: rent is fully covered. Hoi! Ik ben Thijmen, 23 jaar en heb gestudeerd in Groningen, waar ik een geweldige studententijd heb gehad. Ik heb inmiddels mijn bachelor Biologie en mijn master Energy & Environmental Sciences gehaald, maar ik ben nog niet helemaal uitgestudeerd. Vandaar dat ik heb besloten nog en master in Public Administration aan de UTwente te doen en zoek ik een fijne plek om te wonen in Enschede. Ik vind het ontzettend gezellig om samen met huisgenoten te eten, een drankje te doen, een goed bordspel te spelen of gewoon even op de bank te hangen. Tegelijkertijd vind ik het ook helemaal prima als iedereen lekker zijn eigen gang gaat en waardeer ik mijn persoonlijke ruimte als ik even rustig aan wil doen. In mijn vrije tijd vermaak ik me altijd wel. Ik speel graag wat op mijn gitaar, hou op m'n tijd van wat gamen en ga regelmatig een rondje hardlopen (met als doel de halve marathon). Daarnaast ben ik nu nog elk weekend actief als leiding bij een scoutingvereniging in Groningen. Zodra ik in Enschede gesetteld ben, ben ik zeker van plan om daar in de buurt ook weer zoiets op te pakken. Ook ben ik graag met mijn vrienden. I’m from Bulgaria, and I also did my Bachelor’s here in Delft, so I’m already familiar with the city, the university, the rain and the classic Dutch housing struggle. I’m looking for a room in or around Delft. I’m clean and organized, especially when it comes to shared spaces, and I like living in a place that has a relaxed and fun atmosphere. I enjoy having roommates who are up for doing things together, whether that’s cooking, playing a board game, going out for a drink, or just studying together. In my free time, I like cooking (especially Asian cuisine) and baking, so there is a decent chance there will occasionally be something sweet to try. I also enjoy reading, board games, and pretty much any strategy game, from casual ones to the type where everyone suddenly becomes very serious.
