Tevens vaar ik als schipper en tour guide over de grachten van de binnenstad en geef ik als gastdocent schrijfworkshops op middelbare scholen. Ik zoek een (tijdelijke) woning omdat ik na een scheiding in 2023 nog geen eigen woonruimte heb kunnen vinden. Ik sta bij DAK hoog in de wachtrij en verwacht binnen 6 maanden tot maximaal een jaar een woning te krijgen, maar ter overbrugging zou ik graag tijdelijk een woning of kamer willen huren. Hoewel ik drie kinderen (van 12/14/19) heb die ik het liefst parttime bij mij zou willen hebben, weet ik dat ik bij tijdelijke huur een grotere kans maak als persoon alleen, en die concessie ben ik eventueel bereid te maken (de kinderen kunnen bij hun vader terecht). Momenteel woon ik in de Rivierenbuurt in een Parentshouse (een gedeelde woning met twee andere ouders en hun kinderen), maar dit contract loopt af op 29 april aanstaande. De tijd dringt dus…. Ik ben Yeabtsega en ik zit momenteel in mijn laatste bachelorjaar in het conservatorium van Brussel. Ik studeer klassieke uitvoerende muziek, op tuba. Mijn voorstudies: Ik ben begonnen op trompet toen ik in het middelbaar zat en moest dan omschakelen naar tuba, door een beugel. Die omschakeling was pittig, maar daar door heb ik wel doorzettingsvermogen gecreëerd. […] In mijn vrije tijd zit ik in mijn vijfde en ook wel laatste jaar op de scouts, waar ik leiding geef aan verschillende leeftijden. Ik help graag mensen. Ik ben heel benieuwd en gemotiveerd om te leren hoe ik mensen kan helpen met muzikale interactie. Door mijn muzikale achtergrond helpt het me op een goede basis te vormen in muziek. Ik sta graag op het podium, waar ik mijn muziek door emoties kan brengen. Maar het liefst zou ik dit gerichter en persoonlijker willen doen. De opleiding muziektherapie in Enschede spreekt mij aan vanwege het een conservatorium is. Het muzikale gedeelte is even belangrijk als de therapie. Ik ben heel benieuwd om te zien wat mijn persoonlijke ontwikkeling zal eruit zien. Ik hoorde de term “zelfreflectie” een aantal keren vallen op de opendeurdag. Dat lijkt me al heel interessant en uitdagend.
