I am looking for a place to call home in Amsterdam, and am also open to Utrecht, The Hague, or Rotterdam. I am a calm, tidy, and respectful tenant. I work independently on my art and film projects, which means I keep a quiet, steady routine. I take good care of any space I live in and I am always on time with rent. I have a Dutch BSN, my paperwork is fully in order, and I am ready to move at short notice. My work has taken me around the world I recently completed a residency at the Jan van Eyck Academie in the Netherlands, and my work has been shown at the Venice Biennale, the Berlin Biennale, and the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, among others. I am now building my life and practice here in the Netherlands, and finding a stable, comfortable home is an important part of that. I do not smoke, I have no pets, and I am happy living with housemates or alone. I love cooking, Indian food mostly and I am always happy to share a meal. I speak English, Hindi, and Bengali fluently, and I am learning Dutch. One important note: I also need to be able to register my address with the municipality (gemeentelijke inschrijving). This is a firm requirement for me, so I kindly ask landlords to confirm this is possible before we proceed.
