Hello! I'm a self-employed multidisciplinary creative professional (photographer/creative director/media background) who relocated to the Netherlands from the U.S. in February. I have a valid visa & residence permit, a business registered with the KvK, a growing network of Dutch friends and a sense of community, having previously spent extended stays in the NL twice in two years. This time, my move is permanent. I have never felt more at home than I do with my feet in the ground in the Netherlands. I am in LOVE with Het Gooi region, where I'm and am temporarily staying. I know every trail, every neighborhood, farm and public transport access from Bussum, Huizen and Blaricum to Laren and Hilversum. I'm also familiar with Naarden, LOVE Baarn, Hoorn, Haarlem, Amersfoot and Den Haag - where I have friends. I'm aware of the housing shortage, and will happily consider any availability within a 90-minute commute by public transportation to Amsterdam, where much of my work seems to be. I have an excellent rental history and personal references and I care for my space. I have a green thumb, love people, adore animals, art, am newly enthusiastic about golf, opera, and even the raindrops most complain about - there's serenity in gray days, too! I would love my independence and a studio or apartment, but I also understand the housing shortage yields few or unaffordable rentals, so I'd be open to discussing sharing in a bright, comfortable place with someone kind and respectful, who appreciates some privacy and room to breathe. :) I have no pets, but huge bonus if you do! ;) Registration is necessary. Ik ben Felix (22) en tweedejaars student MediaMusic aan het ArtEZ Conservatorium, waar ik me ontwikkel tot film en mediacomponist. Binnen mijn eigen onderneming schrijf ik muziek voor verschillende projecten, zoals korte films, documentaires en af en toe games. Daarnaast werk ik regelmatig als geluidsman op filmsets, wat zorgt voor een fijne afwisseling. Het is leuk om onder de mensen te zijn en onderdeel uit te maken van een creatief team. Ik bespeel meerdere instrumenten, maar doe dit voornamelijk op school of met een koptelefoon, zodat ik thuis geen overlast veroorzaak. Ik woon inmiddels ruim twee jaar in Gronau en ben op zoek naar een plek dichter bij het centrum. Het lijkt me fijn om spontaner met vrienden af te spreken, samen iets te drinken of gewoon wat meer levendigheid om me heen te hebben. Enschede ken ik inmiddels al goed, maar ik sta er ook voor open om nieuwe plekken te ontdekken. Ook wil ik graag een bijbaan in Enschede vinden, wat een stuk makkelijker wordt als ik dichterbij woon. Naast mijn studie ben ik actief in het ArtEZ-voetbalteam. We spelen misschien in de laagste klasse, maar plezier en teamspirit staan voorop en een gelijkspel voelt soms al als een overwinning. Ook ga ik graag naar de sportschool, en is het als toekomstige huisgenoot altijd mogelijk om gratis mee te gaan op mijn abonnement. Als huisgenoot ben ik rustig, netjes en sociaal.
