Ik ben Casper en ik ben net begonnen aan de bachelor Werktuigbouwkunde aan TU Delft. Voor mijn studie ben ik op zoek naar een gezellig en relaxed huis, en jullie advertentie sprak me meteen aan. Ik ben net klaar met KMT van Virgiel, nu nog een kamer! Ik ben opgegroeid in een Nederlands gezin in Genève, Zwitserland en heb daar mijn hele leven op een internationale school gezeten. Daardoor spreek ik vloeiend Nederlands, Engels en Frans. Hoewel ik uit het buitenland kom, ben ik zeker niet op zoek naar een rustig plekje om alleen te wonen. For the past five years I've built and run the quality systems behind medical devices , most recently as senior QA officer on an autonomous medical robot, and now as quality and risk lead at Niavicta, where I'm also co-founder. I have an M.A. in International Management, with a thesis on the adoption of autonomous medical devices that was graded with distinction, and a B.Sc. in Physiology and Psychology, cum laude. I'm originally from South Africa, where I worked in medical device regulation before moving to the Netherlands in 2023. I've been in Utrecht since then, so this would be a local move rather than a fresh start, I know the area and I'm settled here. Outside work I'm at the gym a few times a week and I walk a lot; it's how I get away from a screen. The rest of my free time mostly goes into programming , I'm usually building something, learning a new tool, or taking a system apart to see how it works. As a housemate I'm tidy, self-sufficient and easy to live alongside. I cook properly, clean up after myself, and I'm not someone who fills the house with people. I like coming home to a calm place at the end of the day. I'm not a student, which in practice means a steady income, a predictable weekday routine, and no plans to move out at the end of a semester.
