Hi! I’m João, 25, originally from Portugal 🇵🇹, and I’ve been living in the Netherlands for about a year and a half. I currently work as a Lead Barista at Wakuli, so I have a stable job and I’m looking for a place that I can happily call home for the long term. I’d describe myself as open, calm, collected and empathetic. I’m quite social and extroverted, but I also really appreciate having some quiet time to myself. As a housemate, I’m clean and tidy, and I like keeping the house feeling comfortable and well looked after. I’m also a good listener and I really value having a respectful and easy-going atmosphere at home. Outside of work, I love climbing, going for coffee, discovering small concerts and spending time at the beach. I’m also really into producing music, and I can get very excited talking about music. So if you accidentally ask me about an artist, album or song I love, there’s a good chance you’ll get a much longer answer than you expected 😂 I’m vegetarian and I love cooking, especially trying new things and sharing food with people. I’d be very happy in a house where people are friendly and open to occasionally cooking together, having a coffee, going to a concert, or simply hanging out, while also respecting each other’s space. I’m mainly looking for a studio or a small shared house with a few nice people. Since I have a stable job, I’m hoping to find somewhere I can stay for a long time and really make it feel like home. Hoi! Ik ben Liena en ik ben 18 jaar en woon momenteel nog thuis in Wageningen. Vanaf eind augustus verhuis ik naar Enschede omdat ik ga starten met de opleiding Forensisch Onderzoek aan Saxion. In mijn vrije tijd korfbal ik bij KV Wageningen, een van de grotere korfbalverenigingen van de regio. Daarnaast houd ik erg van lezen en puzzelen. Ik vind het leuk om dingen uit te pluizen en op te lossen, wat ook goed aansluit bij mijn studie die ik komend najaar ga beginnen . Hoewel ik nog niet op mezelf heb gewoond, kijk ik er juist naar uit om die stap te zetten. Ik ben zelfstandig, netjes en vind het belangrijk om rekening met elkaar te houden. Ik ben altijd wel in voor een praatje of een gezamenlijke activiteit, maar kan me ook prima vermaken met een boek of een puzzel. Ik heet Sylke en ben 20 jaar oud. Op dit moment zit ik in het tweede jaar van de bachelor elektrotechniek, maar vanaf volgend jaar ga ik er ook natuur- en sterrenkunde in Leiden naast doen. Naast het zijn van een nerd ook nog genoeg andere hobbys! Ik hou van naaien, bakken, schilderen, kletsen, boulderen, naar de gym gaan en van tijd besteden met vrienden! Ik vind het erg leuk om nieuwe dingen te proberen, alleen of gezellig samen. Ik hou ook van een schoon huis, en heb op mijn huidige kamer een schoonmaakrooster, dus ik ben al gewend aan hard poetsen. Ik ga netjes om met spullen en zorg niet voor overlast. Ik heb er plezier in om af en toe met huisgenoten (of vrienden) te eten en om nieuwe dingen te proberen. Here in my hometown most of the time I’m going to the nearby CrossFit-Box, play Paddel, go for a run, go swimming or play Beachvolleyball with friends. I’ve also played football, tennis and handball in the past. So as you can see I love to try new things and sports out. Besides this I love to explore new cities and countries around the world. This is one of my favourite “hobby’s “ because you learn always something new about different cultures, different people and (maybe for me the most important thing) about new kitchens. And this is another hobby of mine. I love to cook. The Asien and the Italien kitchen are my most favourite kitchens. Every Christmas me and my two brothers cook for the family a special dish. So I would love to cook also with you guys every evening. The funniest part of cooking is to do it with friends. Sitting and eating together in the evening is an everyday ritual in our household. So I would like to continue with this ritual maybe by you. The rest of my free time I spend with my girlfriend or with my clique. Most of the time we are doing activities like game nights, driving to a sea, watching football or other stuff like this. We also organise special activities like in march we were in a snow dome or a weekend trip to Wangerooge. In my opinion these are the most fun activities. At the weekends we like to going party or only sit together, drink a few beer and play some cards.
