Hi! My name is Daniela, I’m 19 years old and I’m starting my second year studying Media and Culture at Utrecht University. I’m originally from Barcelona, and I moved to the Netherlands last year. I’m a friendly and tidy person. I enjoy cinema, reading and yoga, as well as going out with friends. I really like meeting new people and spending time together, but I also value my alone time to focus on my hobbies. I also make a great tortilla de patatas and love sharing it with my housemates! :) Regarding the rent, my parents cover my housing costs and are able to act as guarantors, so I have a stable financial situation. I’m happy to provide proof of enrollment, guarantor documents, or any other information you may need. Hi! I’m Melike, a recent Computer Engineering graduate from Turkey, Istanbul. I’ll be moving to Enschede in September 15 for a 6-month Erasmus+ internship till March 14 at the University of Twente. In my free time, I enjoy playing the piano, roller skating and, especially, reading books. I’m an easy-going and considerate person, and I really enjoy spending time with the people around me. I also love cooking for the people I care about, so I’d be happy to occasionally cook and share a meal together. During the week, I’ll mostly be at my internship, but whenever I’m free, I’m always up for having a chat, watching something together, grabbing a drink or simply spending some time together at home.  Ik, Alice (23 jaar), ben met mijn partner, Martin (21 jaar) op zoek naar een leuk appartement om samen te gaan wonen in Groningen. Martin is bezig met de academische opleiding leraar basisonderewijs en zelf studeer ik Engelse taal en cultuur aan de RUG. Daarnaast zijn we momenteel allebei werkzaam als winkelmedewerker. In onze vrije tijd lezen we graag en vinden we het leuk om samen een kaartspelletje te spelen. In September I'm moving to The Hague to start a one-year master's in Crisis and Security Management at Leiden University, and I'm looking for a room I can settle into for the whole duration of my studies, not just somewhere to sleep between lectures. The thing I care about most in a shared home is trust, simply being someone you can rely on, whatever kind of day it's been. I'm quiet and easy to live with, but sociable too, I genuinely enjoy cooking, a shared meal or a beer in the evening, and I can just as happily have a calm night in. It really depends on the mood, I read the room and fit in. I like a home that actually works, where the kitchen gets used, where I do my share without being asked, and where I'll fix a small thing rather than let it sit. I'm tidy, low-drama, and I've never minded picking up a little slack for people I live with. Alongside my studies I intend to work as well, so my days are structured and my rhythm fits a working household. Outside of that I'm into martial arts and lifting, hiking, swimming, chess, and making a bit of music and video. If this sounds like your kind of housemate, I'd love to hear from you.
