My name is Lorenzo and I am moving to Amsterdam to start my MSc in Brain and Cognitive Sciences at UvA. I am quiet, academic-minded, and highly respectful of living spaces. Moreover, having already lived independently in rented apartments for over 4 years, I am fully accustomed to managing a household and keeping a property in perfect condition. I can gladly provide a reference letter from my previous landlord upon request. To guarantee financial reliability, my parents will act as guarantors and will cover the rent and utilities directly.

Hoi! Ik ben Laura Luis, 23 jaar en zit in mijn laatste jaar van de bachelor Bouwkunde aan de TU Delft. Op dit moment woon ik nog bij mijn moeder in Coolhaven, maar ik ben klaar voor de volgende stap: op mezelf wonen. Ik ben namelijk (mede)mantelzorger voor mijn vader, die hier ook woont, en dat is voor mij een belangrijke reden om dicht bij huis te blijven. Wat ik zoek Ik sta open voor zowel een kamer als een studio. Bij een kamer vind ik het fijn als er ruimte is voor gezelligheid met huisgenoten, maar ook voor rust op mezelf. Een studio spreekt me ook aan vanwege de zelfstandigheid als de locatie en sfeer van de buurt maar goed aanvoelen.

Hi, I’m moving from Germany to Delft or The Hague to start my master’s in Applied Mathematics at TU Delft. Outside university, I’m really into sports. At the moment that mostly means running and cycling, but I’m generally up for trying pretty much anything and have been thinking about picking up football again. I’m also a big fan of spontaneous plans, whether that means going for a run, heading to the park, cooking dinner together or grabbing a beer somewhere. I like learning new things and can easily get drawn into a good discussion or some random topic I suddenly want to understand. Recently I’ve also picked up reading again after some peer pressure from friends, and I’m actually enjoying it. I’m using the rest of August to learn as much Dutch as I can. I’m still a beginner, but I’d like to improve quickly once I’m living there and can actually use it every day. I’ve already lived in a shared apartment during my bachelor’s, so I know what it’s like to share a home with other people. Ideally, I’d like to live somewhere where people occasionally cook together, hang out or spontaneously do something, rather than just sharing a kitchen and never seeing each other. At the same time, I’m perfectly happy doing my own thing as well. Right now I’m mainly hoping to find a place where I can settle in before the semester starts.
