Hey, I’m Lara, 21 years old and currently living in Cologne. As I just finished my Bachelor Degree in Media Studies and Media Law, I’ll be moving to Amsterdam in September to start my Master’s there. Because of that, I’m looking for a place to stay from August onwards. If the Room is available earlier on, I could arrange that as well though. I speak english, german and a little french but I’m learning durch at the moment and want to take a course at the university. I’d describe myself as a very social, open-minded, and outgoing person. At the moment I’m sharing a flat with six other girls, which I’ve been living with for the last three years, therefore I’m experienced in sharing an apartment. i do love a good coffee, going for walks, a sweet treat and reading as well though:). I’d say I’m clean, considerate, and easy to live with, and I’m really hoping to find a place that feels like home and hopefully includes some friends🌷.

Ik ben Mara, 22 jaar en woon momenteel in Nijmegen. Momenteel die doe ik een tussenjaar na een Bachelor Psychologie. Tijdens mijn studententijd stond ik altijd open voor contact met medestudenten. Zo nam ik deel aan een studentenvereniging gericht op theater en deed ik mee aan verschillende cursussen in sport zoals badminton en boksen. Met vrienden vind ik het erg leuk goede gesprekken te voeren, te wandelen en iets te drinken in een café. Zelf sport ik graag, houd ik van tekenen, lezen en series en films kijken. Ook werk ik al anderhalf jaar bij een mentale support lijn waarbij ik emotionele ondersteuning bied aan jongvolwassenen. Tijdens mijn tussenjaar ben ik gaan reizen door verschillende landen in Europa en doe ik vrijwilligerswerk waarbij ik in contact kom met mensen van verschillende religies en culturen. Zo werk ik werkte ik in een boeddhistisch centrum en een vluchtelingenkamp. Dit sluit ook aan bij de master die ik wil gaan doen in Groningen; Applied Social Psychology. Daarnaast heb ik ook allerlei verschillende sporten uitgeprobeerd zoals zeilen, go karting en duiken. Ik zou mezelf beschrijven als iemand die open staat voor contact met anderen, nieuwsgierig, hardwerkend en betrouwbaar is.
