I am an urban designer specialising in the conservation of cultural heritage. I have a background in urban design and architecture, with degrees from Bilkent University (undergraduate), the Dessau Institute of Architecture (DIA) in Germany (masters), and a PhD from METU. My research focuses on historic public spaces and multi-layered towns, and I have been fortunate to work on various cultural heritage projects in Ankara. Currently, I teach at Başkent University, where I guide undergraduate and graduate students in urban design and conservation. I joined TU Delft as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment and in June, 2025. I will be living alone during my studies in TU Delft, and I am hoping to find a home nearby. Outside of my academic work, I enjoy exploring historic cities and, after a long break due to a car accident, I’ve recently returned to playing tennis—a passion that brings me a lot of joy. Mijn naam is Claudia. De afgelopen twee jaar heb ik veel gereisd en een beetje een nomadisch bestaan geleid. Ik heb veel in hostels gewerkt en gewoond en dit jaar ook in een eco-community in Portugal. Ik zie mezelf als open-minded en vind het heel fijn om telkens nieuwe mensen te ontmoeten. Maar na twee jaar reizen wil ik graag weer in Nederland settelen. Mijn familie en vrienden zijn hier en ik vind Nederland een mooi land om te wonen. Op het moment werk ik als schrijver en administratief werker (freelance). Ik ben veel creatief bezig met schrijven, film maken en op verschillende manieren tekenen/vormgeven. Daarnaast lijkt het me heel leuk om in de stad wat sociale initiatieven te starten (zoals language/culture exchanges, women’s circles en kletscafés). Hallo, Ik ben Levi, 18 jaar oud en kom uit Lelystad. En woon nu in Groningen. Ik sport regelmatig en heb mijn hele leven gehockeyd wat ik nu ook als trainingslid bij GCHC doe. Ik heb vorig jaar een tussenjaar gehad waarin ik veel heb gewerkt en een half jaar ski les heb gegeven in Kleinwalsertal. Hello, my name is Eduardo Minhós i am 34 years old. I come from Portugal and i have been working in the Netherlands for almost 2 years. I speak Portuguese, English and a bit of Dutch. I work in Schipluiden in a tomato greenhouse, my main work involves the last stage of the final product (tomatos), usually i am responsible for the quality and control the machines that weight and pack into pallets the product. Also help other teams inside the green house dealing with chemicals fertilizers, pest control (phytopharmaceuticals) and keeping my work are clean and organized. I have degree in Biochemistry from Portugal. I am very social, clean and reasonable person. I work with different nationalities and am always able the keep a good work atmosphere. Currently i am looking for a house to live closer to work and a long term contract is my main goal, since the company i work likes me and wants to keep me working there since they already investing in my formation like dutch course and forklift license.
