My native languages are English and Norwegian (so I understand Swedish and Danish by extension), and I can understand Dutch decently. Hoi! Ik ben Thijmen, 23 jaar en heb gestudeerd in Groningen, waar ik een geweldige studententijd heb gehad. Ik heb inmiddels mijn bachelor Biologie en mijn master Energy & Environmental Sciences gehaald, maar ik ben nog niet helemaal uitgestudeerd. Vandaar dat ik heb besloten nog en master in Public Administration aan de UTwente te doen en zoek ik een fijne plek om te wonen in Enschede. Ik vind het ontzettend gezellig om samen met huisgenoten te eten, een drankje te doen, een goed bordspel te spelen of gewoon even op de bank te hangen. Tegelijkertijd vind ik het ook helemaal prima als iedereen lekker zijn eigen gang gaat en waardeer ik mijn persoonlijke ruimte als ik even rustig aan wil doen. In mijn vrije tijd vermaak ik me altijd wel. Ik speel graag wat op mijn gitaar, hou op m'n tijd van wat gamen en ga regelmatig een rondje hardlopen (met als doel de halve marathon). Daarnaast ben ik nu nog elk weekend actief als leiding bij een scoutingvereniging in Groningen. Zodra ik in Enschede gesetteld ben, ben ik zeker van plan om daar in de buurt ook weer zoiets op te pakken. Ook ben ik graag met mijn vrienden. We plannen regelmatig speciaalbier avondjes, een whiskey proeverij of een leuke, actieve activiteit, zoals padellen. Ik zoek dus een gezellig huis met een mooie balans tussen samen dingen ondernemen en elkaars rust respecteren.

Hoi, Ik ben Jamie, ik ben 24 jaar, ik kom uit Nijeveen (Drenthe). Ik heb in 2025 mijn bachelor werktuigbouwkunde afgerond. Hierna heb ik een tussenjaar genomen om te gaan reizen. Nu ik mijn master ga starten zoek ik een gezellig huis. Ik ben graag actief, ik ga naar de sportschool en doe onder andere aan mountainbiken. In het weekend rijd ik ook graag op de motor, vind ik het gezellig om een biertje te doen met vrienden, of naar een rave te gaan. Maar ik vind het ook leuk om (bord)spellen te spelen met vrienden. Ik ben een grote dieren vriend. Reizen vind ik ook erg leuk om te doen, ik ben dus nu een tijd wezen reizen en tijdens mijn bachelor heb ik een half jaar in Praag gestudeerd. Ik ben vegetarisch, maar ik heb er geen problemen mee dat anderen vlees eten of om er mee te koken. Ik zoek een huis dat natuurlijk gezellig is, ook lijkt het me leuk als er vaak samen gegeten wordt en soms een huisavond of andere activiteit is. Maar ook ruimte voor wat rust en chillen

Therefore I will be moving from Berlin (where I currently live) to Nijmegen and I am looking for a room to call home. Here is a little bit about myself: After graduating from high school in 2024, I worked, travelled in Europe for two months and lived with a family in Italy as an AuPair for three months. Through my abroad experiences I have learned to be independent and adaptable. Thanks to my exchange year in the United States in 2021/22, I speak both German and English fluently.
