Hi, My name is Ben Elias Opdenplatz. I'm 20 years old and currently looking for a long-term place in Leiden, where I'll start my Bachelor's in Psychology this autumn. Right now I'm enjoying the last months of my voluntary year in Argentina, where I live together with 30 teenage boys and accompany them through their daily life. This experience is actually what made me want to study psychology – it made me realize I want to work with and for people later on. In my free time I enjoy sports, reading, socializing and learning new things, such as languages. In mijn vrije tijd hockey ik, ben ik graag creatief bezig en sta ik graag in de keuken. Koken, bakken, iets uitproberen — ik ben erbij. Dus grote kans dat er af en toe iets lekkers uit de oven komt. Ik draai al jaren mee op het terras van een strandtent, dus drukte, gezelligheid en tempo ben ik wel gewend. Een dienblad vol drankjes, mensen om me heen en toch relaxed blijven? Dat lukt inmiddels aardig. Ik ben netjes, betrouwbaar en soms een tikkeltje chaotisch, maar op een gezellige manier. Ik zoek een plek waar ruimte is voor gezelligheid, maar ook voor rust en je eigen leven.
