I am a full-time MPhil student in Economic Research at the University of Cambridge. I will be moving to Amsterdam for the 2026/27 academic year to join the MRes/PhD programme in Economics at Tinbergen Institute, and I am looking for a quiet, clean, and well-connected apartment where I can study, work, and settle into life in the Netherlands. Alongside my studies, I work remotely as a part-time Research and Teaching Assistant at the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU). I am organised, tidy, respectful of others, and used to living independently in international environments. My studies have taken me to several countries across Europe, Asia, and Oceania, making me comfortable in diverse, international communities. Outside economics, I enjoy tennis, chess, reading, and exploring new cities. I would be happy to provide any documents needed for the application, such as proof of admission or enrolment, identification, and financial guarantees if required.

My name is Andreas, :)) 23, from southern Germany. In September I'm moving to The Hague to start a one-year master's in Crisis and Security Management at Leiden University, and I'm looking for a room I can settle into for the whole duration of my studies, not just somewhere to sleep between lectures. The thing I care about most in a shared home is trust, simply being someone you can rely on, whatever kind of day it's been. I'm quiet and easy to live with, but sociable too, I genuinely enjoy cooking, a shared meal or a beer in the evening, and I can just as happily have a calm night in. It really depends on the mood, I read the room and fit in. I like a home that actually works, where the kitchen gets used, where I do my share without being asked, and where I'll fix a small thing rather than let it sit. I'm tidy, low-drama, and I've never minded picking up a little slack for people I live with. Alongside my studies I intend to work as well, so my days are structured and my rhythm fits a working household.
