Hi there, my name is Jordan and I am a 29 year old undergraduate student from Los Angeles who will be doing an exchange at Utrecht University from August 2026 to August 2027. I will be studying law & political theory. Though I am a student and will not be working I will be receiving extensive financial aid through my home university and have a large pool of savings, so I will be able to meet whatever necessary income requirements. I also have a guarantor to assist me, if necessary. When I'm not studying I love to read, watch the NBA (go Lakers!), try new restaurants, and go to the movies. When the weather is nice I like to be outside with a good book or picnic. In a housing environment I like to keep things neat and organized and I am very respectful of other peoples' space/items/sleep, etc. I like to take it easy for the most part during the week, but I also enjoy a night out on the weekend. I am happy to have relaxed social gatherings at home like dinner parties, game nights, or film nights, too. When getting to know new housemates I think choosing a show to watch together, cooking a meal together, or chatting over a card/board game are all great ways to connect. I am a non-smoker and I do not have any pets. I love animals, though I would not be able to have any pets go into my room in a shared accommodation as I have an allergy. Hai! Ik ben Liske, nu nog 17 jaar en vanaf komend studiejaar ga ik Chemische Technologie studeren. Op dit moment woon ik nog in Brabant, waar ik ook actief ben bij scouting. Daarnaast heb ik jarenlang atletiek gedaan, dus ik ben graag actief bezig. In mijn vrije tijd ben ik ook veel met muziek bezig: ik speel slagwerk in een orkest. Geen zorgen trouwens — ik ben niet van plan een drumstel mee te nemen naar mijn kamer 😉. Het is vooral melodisch slagwerk wat ik doe. Verder hou ik van lezen, tekenen en een gezellige bordspelavond (ik heb toegang tot een bordspelbibliotheek van meer dan 800 spellen). Ik ben sociaal en vind het leuk om af en toe samen dingen te doen, maar ik kan ook prima mijn eigen ding doen. Ik ben Dennis, 20 jaar, en na mijn middelbare school cum laude te hebben afgerond, studeer ik nu bestuurs- en organisatiewetenschappen aan de Universiteit van Utrecht en ik begin na de zomer aan mijn tweede jaar als student en ben daarom opzoek naar een kamer of studio in Utrecht. Mijn ouders hebben “ons” ouderlijk huis verkocht en vertrekken naar het buitenland, dus ik ben nu echt op mijzelf toegewezen en ben dringend op zoek naar een nieuwe plek die ik thuis kan noemen. 😄 Ik verdien zelf €1200,- per maand en mijn ouders hebben €150.000 garant staan met verkoop van het huis.
