My name is Andreas, :)) 23, from southern Germany. In September I'm moving to The Hague to start a one-year master's in Crisis and Security Management at Leiden University, and I'm looking for a room I can settle into for the whole duration of my studies, not just somewhere to sleep between lectures. The thing I care about most in a shared home is trust, simply being someone you can rely on, whatever kind of day it's been. I'm quiet and easy to live with, but sociable too, I genuinely enjoy cooking, a shared meal or a beer in the evening, and I can just as happily have a calm night in. It really depends on the mood, I read the room and fit in. I like a home that actually works, where the kitchen gets used, where I do my share without being asked, and where I'll fix a small thing rather than let it sit. I'm tidy, low-drama, and I've never minded picking up a little slack for people I live with. Alongside my studies I intend to work as well, so my days are structured and my rhythm fits a working household. Our preference is for a place in the Amsterdam, The Hague, or Leiden regions and surrounding areas, but we are open to other options as well.

I'm naturally curious and enjoy discovering new cultures, exploring new cities, travelling, photography and playing badminton. I love meeting people from different backgrounds and believe that some of the best learning happens outside the classroom. At home, I appreciate a clean, peaceful and respectful environment. I'm considerate, tidy and easy to live with—I enjoy spending time with others, but I also value quiet evenings to study, read or simply recharge. I'm looking for a long-term room or studio with BRP registration, ideally in The Hague or within a reasonable commuting distance.
