Hi! I’m Nicolas, a 25-year-old Italian student moving to Amsterdam to start my Master’s degree in Public International Law at the University of Amsterdam. I recently graduated in Law in Italy and I’m also working part-time in hospitality in Amsterdam, so I’m looking for a place where I can combine my studies, work and daily life. I’m a responsible, tidy and respectful person who likes keeping the home clean and having good communication with housemates. Outside of university and work, I enjoy cooking, discovering new places, having a drink with friends, travelling and learning about different cultures. I’m quite social and I appreciate a home where people can have a chat, share a meal sometimes, but also respect each other’s privacy. I’m looking for a room or apartment in Amsterdam, preferably with registration possible, for a longer stay starting around September. I’m open to different neighbourhoods as long as they are well connected to the city and the university. Looking forward to finding a nice place and meeting my future housemates!

Mijn vriend Sander (25) en ik Floor (23) zoeken samen een huurwoning om samen te gaan wonen. Ik huur al voor 5 jaar lang in Groningen en ben dol op de stad, dus wil heel graag in de omgeving blijven. Mijn vriend en ik zijn ondertussen 4 jaar samen en zijn gewend om lang dagen achter elkaar bij elkaar te zijn en zijn daarom helemaal klaar om samen te wonen en eindelijk iets te vinden waar we onze gezamelijke plek hebben. We hebben beide onze bachelor of science behaald op de Hanze en zijn op het moment werkend. Wij willen heel graag samen een plekje vinden waar we samen lekker tot rust kunnen komen. Wij houden niet van feesten en zijn allebij erg rustig. In de avonden na werk en in de weekenden, houden wij van samen bankhangen en een film of serie kijken.

Hey! Ik ben Abe, 19 jaar en vanaf september begin ik met een studie aan de Universiteit Utrecht. Vanwege de lange reistijd zoek ik daarom een kamer in Utrecht. Ik heb eerder al in een studentenkamer in Eindhoven gewoond, dus ik ben het studentenleven en het delen van een huis al gewend. Ik vind het juist leuk om met huisgenoten te wonen: samen eten, een drankje doen of gewoon even bijkletsen, maar natuurlijk ook gewoon lekker je eigen ding kunnen doen. In mijn vrije tijd ben ik vooral veel met muziek bezig. Ik geef ongeveer 8 uur per week pianoles en speel daarnaast in verschillende bands en bij musicals en optredens. Ook ben ik regelmatig te vinden bij concerten, optredens, muziekbars en clubs. Naast mijn pianolessen werk ik parttime bij een software-startup. Ik ben over het algemeen een spontane en sociale gast met behoorlijk uiteenlopende interesses en vind het leuk om nieuwe dingen en mensen te leren kennen. Lijkt het je leuk om kennis te maken? Hi! I’m Stefania, a visual artist from Greece. I’m moving to the Netherlands to start my Master’s in Rotterdam and I’ll also be working. I’m looking for a room in Rotterdam, Delft or The Hague. I’m clean and organised and I’ve lived with roommates before, so I’m used to sharing a home with other people. I like having my own space, but I also enjoy having a chat in the kitchen or spending some time together when it happens naturally. I spend a lot of my time working on my art at the studio, and I also like going out, exploring the city and finding new places.

I am 19 years old, from Munich, Germany, and moving to Delft to start my bachelor's in Aerospace Engineering. I am the oldest of four siblings and used to doing my share around the house, such as cooking once a week for my family, doing laundry and helping to clean. I enjoy playing games with them and the fact that I am not often home alone. In year 11 I organised half a year abroad in New Zealand for myself, where I lived with a host family. I am therefore used to settling into a new environment and to living in and respecting someone else's home. Hobby-wise, I love outdoor sports such as mountain biking and kitesurfing. I love playing spikeball, volleyball and football with friends, as well as cooking together, having board game nights and dancing at parties. In Delft I am very excited to meet new people and to study something that really interests me, since I have always loved doing small engineering projects, especially ones related to aerospace.
