My name is Kristina and I will be starting a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering degree at TU/e in the fall and I am looking for a room to rent. I am quite a social person, and have an international background - I was born in Seoul, Korea while my father was working there, and did most of my schooling in the Czech Republic. I am a native English speaker, and although I do not speak Dutch yet, I am very eager to learn it. In terms of hobbies, I like working out, reading, and many outdoor activities. I plan to work during my studies at TU/e, but my parents will be paying my rent and can serve as my guarantor in any manner that you require. Starting from late August, I will be pursuing my Master’s degree in Architecture at TU Delft. Why do I think I would make a great roommate? Besides the fact that my English level allows me to keep up long conversations on many topics, I am a master of household order: I sacredly respect the unwritten code of cleanliness. I possess a unique genetic code that compels me to recap the toothpaste tube, put things back where they belong, and wash my coffee mug immediately, rather than "in five minutes." I respect my roommates' food boundaries. I never touch anyone else's yogurts in the fridge, I don't leave empty cartons inside just for show, and I know how to cook meals that won't trigger the smoke alarm. I love to cook, and I'm good at it. My culinary highlights include homemade pizza and tiramisu.
