Hello, We are a respectful and responsible Japanese couple who have just arrived in the Netherlands a few days ago. Although we have not yet completed our registration (BSN) due to our recent arrival, we are actively looking for a house where registration is possible and stable living can begin. Until two months ago, we were working in Australia and have enough savings to support ourselves while we search for jobs here in the Netherlands. One of us is a trained florist with professional experience in both Japan and Australia. It has long been a dream to live and work in the Netherlands—one of the world's most renowned countries for flowers. Having experienced firsthand the cultural and professional differences in floristry between Japan and Australia, we are now even more motivated to be involved in the floral industry here in the Netherlands. We were also deeply drawn to the Netherlands for its high level of English proficiency, especially among non-native countries, and its outstanding education system. We’re eager to learn more about Dutch culture, people, and values during our stay. In addition, we have recently started studying Dutch—we are especially fascinated by its unique pronunciation, which differs so much from Japanese and English. We are quiet, tidy, and respectful tenants, and will treat any space with great care. My name is Chiara, I’m 25 years old and originally from Osnabrück. Last year I finished my bachelor’s in Psychology at Radboud University. Next month in November I’ll start my pre-master, and afterwards, in February, I’ll begin my master’s in Positive Clinical Psychology & Technology at the University of Twente. Mijn Nederlands is eigenlijk niet zo slecht maar ik dacht wij starten erstmal met Engels. Misschien is het goed voor jou te weten dat ik denk ik geen problemen met een Nederlands contract zou hebben. Maar laat ons even een beetje over me praten: Outside of studying I love to stay active. I go to the gym regularly and, if possible, I’d love to pick up tennis again. A few months ago I got my motorcycle license and my motorcycle is on the way. At the moment I’m working at a Gym in Osnabrück, which I really enjoy. I’d love to find a similar, social job when I move to Enschede and I already have some options - I just have to move to fix it.
