Hi! My name is Hanna, I am 24 years old from Oslo, Norway, and looking for a room in Leiden/the Hague! I will begin my MA degree in International Relations at the University of Leiden this fall, and I hold a BA degree in European studies w. political science from Norway. I have previously studied one semester in Utrecht, and really loved the Netherlands, so I am very excited to come back! After I finished my BA in 2024, I have been working full time at the German-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce in Oslo. I therefore speak German in addition to Norwegian and English. I am currently learning Dutch online, and plan to sign up for a language course when I arrive. In my free time, I’m very social, and I enjoy spending time with friends and staying active, and I’m generally open to most social activities! I love nature, music, art, festivals, hiking and just good times with friends. I’m an easy-going and tidy person who values a shared living environment where it’s easy to do things together—whether that’s cooking dinner when there’s time, going for walks, celebrating special occasions, or just relaxing on the couch with a movie. I’ve lived in shared housing for several years (in Norway, Berlin and Utrecht), so I’m very used to sharing space and living with others. I care about keeping things tidy and organized so that it’s pleasant for everyone, and about creating a comfortable home where everyone enjoys living!
