Goedendag, Ik ben deeltijd PhD-student aan de Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam, bij de faculteit filosofie. Ik heb een dubbele nationaliteit, Duits en Zuid-Afrikaans, en woon al ongeveer twee jaar in Gouda (Zuid-Holland). Daarvoor heb ik in Brussel (ongeveer 7 jaar) en in Berlijn (ongeveer 1,5 jaar) gestudeerd en gewerkt. Gouda bevalt me goed, het was perfect om mijn proefschrift te schrijven, maar de verhuurder verkoopt het huis en ik moet dus vóór augustus van dit jaar verhuizen. I like to have meaningful conversations, and enjoy the occasional social event. Overall, however, I prefer a quieter peaceful environment. My name is Nea, I’m a 20-year-old Finnish student currently studying International Relations and Organisations at Leiden University. I moved to The Hague last August and have been living in a shared apartment with five flatmates, but since my contract is ending soon, I’m now looking for a new place to live. I’m used to living with others, so I’m respectful, tidy, and mindful of shared spaces. I also contribute to buying shared household essentials like toilet paper, etc. I don’t smoke or drink, and I generally enjoy cozy nights, although I do like the occasional social night out. out. Alongside my studies, I work part-time at my university as part of the exam hall crew, where I assist in setting up examination spaces. In addition, I receive financial support from Finland. I also have personal savings. I’d describe myself as open and active. I like staying busy, and I’m always down to try new activities.
