Hi everyone! I’m Nils, 24, and about to start my Master’s degree (Modern and Contemporary History) in Utrecht after wrapping up my Bachelor’s in Political Science and History. I’ve spent the last 10 years working in gastronomy as a bartender and waiter – first in my father's restaurant back in Nuremberg and later while studying in Mainz. It keeps me on my toes, makes me easy to talk to, and taught me how to actually keep things clean without being weird about it. Having lived in WGs for the past 4 years, I know how shared flats work: I completely respect personal space, but I’m always down for cooking together, grabbing a cold beer, or having a good chat in the kitchen (I also love cooking for people while trying out new recipes). When I’m not studying or working, I’m usually into photography, music, and politics. I'm looking for a place to call home for the next couple of years while I complete my degrees. I've moved around quite a bit over the past few years, including spending six months in Canada on exchange, so I'm very comfortable living with different people and adapting to new environments. I'm clean, responsible and respectful of other people's privacy and space. My studies keep me pretty busy during the week, so I appreciate having a peaceful home, but I'm definitely not antisocial – I enjoy cooking together, watching a movie, or having a good conversation over dinner. Outside of studying, travelling is probably my biggest passion – I'm currently at 50+ countries and still counting! I also love cooking, movies, exploring new places and meeting people from different backgrounds. I'm a non-smoker and don't have any pets. Alongside my studies, I run my own business and also have a guarantor with a stable income, so I can provide financial security when required.
