Ik ben Mara, 22 jaar en woon momenteel in Nijmegen. Momenteel die doe ik een tussenjaar na een Bachelor Psychologie. Tijdens mijn studententijd stond ik altijd open voor contact met medestudenten. Zo nam ik deel aan een studentenvereniging gericht op theater en deed ik mee aan verschillende cursussen in sport zoals badminton en boksen. Met vrienden vind ik het erg leuk goede gesprekken te voeren, te wandelen en iets te drinken in een café. Zelf sport ik graag, houd ik van tekenen, lezen en series en films kijken. Ook werk ik al anderhalf jaar bij een mentale support lijn waarbij ik emotionele ondersteuning bied aan jongvolwassenen. Tijdens mijn tussenjaar ben ik gaan reizen door verschillende landen in Europa en doe ik vrijwilligerswerk waarbij ik in contact kom met mensen van verschillende religies en culturen. Zo werk ik momenteel in een boeddhistisch centrum en ga ik binnenkort werken in een vluchtelingenkamp. Dit sluit ook aan bij de master die ik wil gaan doen in Groningen; Applied Social Psychology. Daarnaast heb ik ook allerlei verschillende sporten uitgeprobeerd zoals zeilen, go karting en duiken. Ik zou mezelf beschrijven als iemand die open staat voor contact met anderen, nieuwsgierig, hardwerkend en betrouwbaar is. In verband met mijn master zoek ik vanaf uiterlijk september een kamer in Groningen :)

Hoi! Vanaf volgend schooljaar (september 2026) ga ik verder studeren in Breda. Daarom ben ik opzoek naar een woonruimte in Breda of omgeving. Hi, I'm Dominik. In June I was admitted to study Computer Science at Saxion University and started organizing my new life as a first year student in Enschede looking for accommodation. I come from a multicultural family - my mother is of Slovak origin and my father is of Colombian origin, so I have both nationalities and I have applied in Saxion University with my Slovak nationality, although I currently reside with my family in the capital of Colombia, Bogota. I am 17 years old and I have just finished my secondary school in Bogota, but very soon I will turn 18 and I consider myself mature enough to move away from my family and embark on a new path at Saxion University. In my multicultural family I have learned since I was little to travel a lot and enjoy adventures of all kinds. From a very young age I have started racing swimming training and today I am the performance swimmer affiliated with the Swimming Federation of Colombia and also of Slovakia. I hope to continue with this hobby also in Holland, since I like sports in general. Outside of sports, perhaps like most young people of my age, I like music and video games. I come from very far away (Colombia) and I have faith that living this way I will be able to adapt much easier to my new life and make lasting friendships with mutual support. Being an athlete since I was little, I am used to sharing with my peers and providing support when required, I am a friendly and social person. Coming from a multicultural family I think I was raised to be respectful and open-minded. Furthermore, Colombian culture is a very friendly, happy and pleasant culture like most South American cultures.
